FAQS

Are these Qi-certified?

Yes,

Can you run with these on?

While not designed with running in mind, this set fits pretty perfectly. It’s tight enough and light enough to go running. The soft foam makes them comfortable too. Also, they will allow you to hear ambient sounds such as cars which would be a good safety feature for runners.

Does it support aptX?

Yes. Absolutely. Pair a connection to Major IVs and check your device settings (like a phone) to see what it’s reading. If it doesn’t show aptX, then consider whether the headphones are fakes. Fake Marshall headphones are selling out there in the global market.

How is the noise leakage on these? I want to use these for travel but I don’t want to be a disturbance to others.

If the headphones are worn properly, I don’t think leakage is an issue. I wear them on the train daily, they cut out a good chunk of subway noise at half volume, while being ambiantly loud enough. I don’t get looks or comments from anyone… Haven’t tested on a plane due to COVID, but don’t foresee it as an issue.

Do these headphones have a built in mic? And if so where on the headphones is it located? Or is it on the audio cord?

There is no cord, microphone is in the headphones, not sure where. Works very well, been used with no issues for work meetings for the last year and the microphone picks up everything

Would these be good headphones for DJing?

Probably not. They’re not over the ear, so you will hear a lot of external noise bleeding through. I ride the subway every morning, and can hear the background noise through the headphone

Are they compatible as the main speaker for my Alienware computer?

Yes

Can you use this with bass amp?

Yes

does the audio cable have mic and remote?

No. There is no mic on the cable and there is no remote on the cable.

Do they go to 11?

It’s 2022… they go to 11.5!

Frequency response? Are they on-ear or over ear?

These are on-ear headphones.

can you plug these in a computer?

Yes if your computer has an old audio jack for plugging in external speakers. The headphones come with a cord to plug them in.

What materials are they made of?

Some plastic and some metal they are well made

Do these pair and work with a MacBook?

Yes, the Marshall Major IV’s will work with a Macbook via Bluetooth pairing. There’s also the option of connecting them through a headphone jack (cable is included).

Which wireless charger are compatible with the headphones?

They charge just fine on my Samsung wireless charger pad like a champ

Does the headband have metal or plastic?

It’s plastic covered in leather.
