T300 Smart Water Leak Sensor
Product Information
The Tapo T300 Smart Water Leak Sensor is a device designed to
protect your property from water damage. It features a built-in 90
dB alarm that alerts you in case of an emergency. The sensor is
IP67 waterproof, which means it can withstand water immersion up to
1 meter for 30 minutes. It also provides instant app notifications
and visible alarms with Tapo Smart Lights (sold separately). The
sensor works with the Tapo Hub as a bridge, which enables it to
work with other Tapo devices, such as window/door sensors,
temperature & humidity sensors, smart switches, motion sensors,
and smart buttons.
Product Usage
To use the Tapo T300 Smart Water Leak Sensor, you need to have a
Tapo Hub (sold separately). Once you have the hub, follow these
steps:
- Remove the battery cover screws and install two AAA batteries
(included). - Press and hold the control button for 5 seconds to pair the
sensor with the hub. - Place the sensor in a location where water leaks are
possible. - If a water leak occurs, the sensor will trigger the alarm and
send instant app notifications to your smartphone. - You can also adjust the alarm volume by double-pressing the
control button. - To test the connection between the sensor and the hub or
silence the alarm, single-press the control button.
Note: It is recommended to test the sensor periodically to
ensure it is working correctly.
