A. Phillips screwdriver
B. Small Flat screwdriver
C. Long needle nose pliers
D. 3 mm Allen wrench
E. 5 mm Allen wrench
F. 36 mm wrench or a large adjustable wrench

WARNING

CAUTION: To avoid potential shock or other injury, turn power switch OFF and disconnect charger before conducting any assembly or maintenance procedures. Failure to follow these steps in the correct order may cause irreparable damage.

Step 1 Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw located at the very front of the deck. Pull the deck cover off from the deck.	Step 2 Disconnect the throttle cable from the controller.

Step 3 Using a small flat screwdriver, remove the grommet inside the opening of the deck.	Step 4 Unfold the unit. Using a pair of long needle nose pliers, remove the spring from the folding mechanism pin.

Step 5 Using a smal flat screwdriver, remove the C ring from the folding mechanism pin. Slide the pin out from the frame.	Step 6 Using a 3 mm Allen wrench, remove the set screw at the back of the folding knob while holding the knob.

Step 7 Unscrew and remove the knob. Slide down the plastic block of the folding mechanism.	Step 8 Set aside all the parts from the folding mechanism.

Step 9 Using a 5 mm Allen wrench, loosen the bolt from the collar clamp and remove the stem from the fork.	Step 10 Using a 36 mm wrench or a large adjustable wrench, loosen the lock nut from the headset bearings.

Step 11 Using a 3 mm Allen wrench, loosen and remove the two (2) screws from the fork limiter cover.	Step 12 Using a 5 mm Allen wrench, loosen and remove the limiter screw and slide the fork down.
