Operations
The following cleaning procedure will help you to organize your cleaning task, and ensure that you achieve the most beneficial results in the shortest amount of time. Remember to use the spraying/cleaning techniques previously listed. Before starting a pressure wash cleaning job, it is important to prepare the surface that is to be cleaned. This is done by clearing the area of furniture and making sure that all windows and doors are closed tight. In addition, you should make sure that all plants and trees adjacent to the cleaning area are protected by a drop cloth. This will ensure that your plants won’t be sprayed by detergents. The next step is to spray the cleaning surface with water to clear off any dirt or grime that may have been collected on the surface. This will allow your detergent to attack the deep-down dirt that has worked its way into the cleaning surface. Before triggering the gun, adjust the nozzle to a wide fan pattern and slowly adjust to the desired spray pattern. This will help you avoid applying the too much-concentrated spray to the surface which could cause damage. USE THE INSTRUCTIONS APPROPRIATE FOR THE MODEL PURCHASED
NOTE: Use only detergents formulated for pressure washers.
NOTE: Test detergent in an inconspicuous area before use.
Units with Detergent Applicator Included Follow the manufacturer’s label directions for mixed correct concentrations of detergent to water ratio through the pressure washer is approximately 5.4% (1 to 19).
- Unscrew the top of the detergent applicator and fill the applicator with detergent.
- Replace the top on the applicator.
- Remove the lance from the gun.
- Attach the detergent applicator to the gun ( See Figure ).

- Apply detergent so it thoroughly covers the cleaning surface. Apply from bottom to top to prevent detergent from sliding down and streaking.
- Allow detergent to remain on the surface for a few minutes. This is a good time to use a brush to lightly scrub heavily soiled areas. Never allow detergent to dry on the cleaning surface.
- Remove the detergent applicator from gun and replace it with the lance, or remove the applicator from the end of the lance.
- Rinse detergent from the surface.

Final Rinse
Start the final rinse at the bottom and work upward. Make sure you thoroughly rinse the surface and that all detergent has been removed.
- Be sure all detergent is flushed from the system.
- Turn off the motor.
- Turn off the water supply.
- After the motor and water supply are turned off, trigger the gun to depressurize the system.
CAUTION: NEVER turn the water supply off before turning the motor off. Serious damage could occur to the pump and/or motor.
WARNING! NEVER disconnect the high-pressure discharge hose from the machine while the system is pressurized. To depressurize, turn the motor off, turn the water supply off and squeeze gun trigger 2-3 times. - After each use, wipe all surfaces of the pressure washer with a clean, damp cloth.
MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance will improve performance and extend the life of the Pressure Washer. Pressure Washer’s warranty does not cover items that have been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. Only by maintaining the Pressure Washer in accordance with instructions in this manual will the full value of the warranty be honored. Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to properly maintain the Pressure Washer. All service and adjustments should be made at least one time each season. It is important that the maintenance chart below be followed.
MOVING AND STORAGE
After each application or winter storage follows these instructions:
- When finished using the Pressure Washer, you must first drain and rinse the detergent tank.
- Run the Pressure Washer in low pressure until all of the soap is drained from the detergent tank.
- Pour clear water into the tank and run it through on low pressure as though it were detergent.
- Turn the machine OFF and squeeze the trigger to release the trapped pressure inside of the machine.
- Remove both the garden hose and pressure hose from the unit.
- Turn ON the machine and allow it to run for 5 seconds. (This will clear out most of the water trapped in the pump).
- Unplug the machine and store in a dry, climate-controlled environment.
NOTE: Do not store the machine or accessories in a place where the temperature could drop below 40°F. Do not store the pressure washer outdoors. Do not store the pressure washer where it might freeze.
AFTER EXTENDED STORAGE
Scale deposits may form in the pump when it is not used for some time. This causes the motor to hesitate or not start up at all.
- Do not plug the unit into an electrical outlet or connect the pressure hose to the unit.
- Connect a garden hose to the unit and allow the water to exit from a high-pressure outlet for a few seconds to rinse the system.
- Shut off the water.
- Connect the pressure hose to the gun and then lock the hose safety device.
TIPS FOR EXTENDING THE LIFE OF YOUR PRESSURE WASHER
- Never operate the unit without water.
- A pressure washer is not meant to pump hot water. Never connect to the hot water supply – this will significantly reduce the life of the pump.
- Using detergents other than those formulated for pressure washers may cause damage to pump components (o-rings, etc.).This also applies to chemicals such as bleach, dish soap, etc.
- Never operate the unit for more than one (1) minute without spraying water. The resulting heat buildup will damage the pump.
- Before adjusting the nozzle for pressure (high-to-low or low-to-high) release the trigger. Failure to do so will reduce the life of o-rings in lance.
LUBRICATION
This pressure washer does not require any maintenance on the pump or motor. Both assemblies are pre-lubricated and sealed, requiring no additional lubrication.
NOTE
A small amount of oil leakage is normal. If oil leakage persists or becomes worse, the unit may need to be serviced by qualified repair personnel.
WATER INLET SCREEN(FILTER )
The pressure washer is equipped with a water inlet screen to protect the pump from foreign debris. Carefully remove debris from the dull (finger or Q-Tip). Make sure the screen is not torn or broken. WARNING Do not operate the pressure washer without a screen filter in place. Impurities entering the pressure pump can cause internal damage.
COOLING SYSTEM
The air louvers, located in and around the pressure washer housing must be kept clean and free of any obstructions to ensure proper air cooling of the motor and pump during operation.
WATER INLET SCREEN
The water inlet filter must be checked regularly to prevent blockage.( See Figure 1 )
CLEANING PIN MAINTENANCE ( See Figure 1 )
Using included tip cleaner, or an unfolded paper clip, insert the wire into the nozzle hole and move back and forth until the debris is dislodged.
Remove additional debris by back-flushing water through the nozzle. To do this, place the end of a garden hose ( with water running ) to the end of the nozzle for 30-60 seconds.
Spray Nozzle
- make sure the appropriate spray nozzle size is selected for your application, and always start from the lowest pressure spray nozzle to the higher pressure spray nozzle until your desired work result is achieved.
- the pressure washer comes with 3 spray nozzles. Each spray nozzle is designed to deliver a specific water pressure for a particular cleaning job.

- A 15-degree nozzle is typically used for surface preparation such as removing dirt, mildew or paint, and can be used on most surfaces. This nozzle should only be used on areas that can withstand pressure from this nozzle.
- This nozzle delivers a 25-degree spray pattern for intense cleaning of larger areas. Best used to sweep away dirt and mud. Use it to sweep away leaves from decks, driveways, and sidewalks. This nozzle should only be used on areas that can withstand pressure from this nozzle.
Troubleshooting Guide

NOTE: AUTO ON/OFF SWITCH: This Pressure washer is equipped with an Auto Start/Stop feature. To operate: press the power switch to the On(I) position. The pump will pressurize and shut down immediately. Once the trigger of the gun is depressed the unit will turn on. The unit will shut off and be in standby mode when the trigger is released.
