Passive 1-In / 2-Out Signal Splitter with MIDAS Transformer and Extended Dynamic Range
INPUT – connection accepts balanced and unbalanced signals over cables with XLR connectors.
THRU – output sends out a copy of the INPUT signal and accepts connections from balanced audio cables with XLR connectors.
LIFT / EARTH – the switch can be used to connect or disconnect the ground link between the INPUT and OUTPUT A/B jacks in order to reduce hum or prevent group loops. The LIFT / EARTH switch’s ability to reduce hum or prevent ground loops depends on the grounding of connected devices. When the switch is in the LIFT position, the ground connection between INPUT and OUTPUT is disconnected. The OUTPUT A and OUTPUT B jacks each have their own dedicated LIFT / EARTH switch.
