Product Usage Instructions
- Rotate the packaging locks 90 degrees anticlockwise and pull
them out to discard. - Adult assembly is required for battery installation. Keep
batteries out of reach of children. - To remove and install batteries:
- Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit and use a
screwdriver to loosen the screw. - Open the battery cover.
- Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each
battery. - Install 2 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram
inside the battery box. Alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH
rechargeable batteries are recommended for best performance. - Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
- For safety, adult assembly is required before allowing the
child to play with the toy. - Optional keytar strap can be attached or removed at any time.
To attach the keytar strap:- Turn over the keytar.
- Insert one end of the keytar strap through the slot on the
right and the other end through the slot on the left.
- To turn the unit On, slide the Power Switch to the On position.
To turn it Off, slide the switch to the Off position. - Press the Volume Control buttons to adjust the volume
level. - Use the Instrument Buttons to select different instruments and
character sounds. The top row includes synthesizer, guitar, piano,
xylophone, and trumpet. The bottom row includes Bingo’s phrases,
Chattermax sounds, Bluey’s silly sounds, magical sounds, and
percussion. - Press the Bluey Button to hear Bluey talk and make funny
sounds. - Play musical notes by pressing the keys on the Keyboard.
- Press the Sound Effect Buttons to hear three short tunes.
- Press the Light Up Melody Button to hear 10 melodies and see
the light flash to the beat. - To preserve battery life, the Keytar will automatically turn
off after approximately 30 seconds without input. It can be woken
up by pressing the Bluey Button. It will also automatically turn
off when the battery power is very low. If the unit powers down
while playing, replace the batteries.

GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Find the battery cover located on the back of the unit, use a
screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover. 3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of
each battery. 4. Install 2 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following
the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended). 5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
With Bluey’s Keytar, safety comes first. Adult assembly required. For your child’s safety, do not let them play with this toy until it is fully assembled. Bluey’s Keytar comes with an optional keytar strap that can be attached or removed at any time. Follow the steps below to attach your keytar strap. Turn over the keytar. Insert one of the keytar straps through the slot on the right and the other through the slot on the left as shown.

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
· Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -). · Do not mix old and new batteries. · Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries. · Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended
are to be used. · Do not short-circuit the supply terminals. · Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. · Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. · Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: · Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before
charging. · Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision. · Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Disposal of batteries and product The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances that can be damaging to the environment and human health. The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked, indicate that the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in the Batteries and Accumulators Regulation. The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after 13th August, 2005. Please dispose of your product and batteries responsibly.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. Power Switch
To turn the unit On, slide the switch to the On position. To turn the unit Off, slide the switch to the Off position.

Press the Volume Control buttons to adjust the volume. There are three volume levels to choose from.

8. Automatic Shut-Off
To preserve battery life, Bluey’s Keytar will automatically turn off after approximately 30 seconds without input. Bluey’s Keytar can be woken up again by pressing the Bluey Button. Bluey’s Keytar will also automatically turn off when the battery power is very low. If the unit powers down while playing, we suggest replacing the batteries.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. 2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
source. 3. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended
period of time. 4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit
to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps: 1. Please turn the unit OFF. 2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. 3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries. 4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play with again. 5. If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries. If the problem persists, please contact our Consumer Services Department and a service representative will be happy to help you.
