FAQS

does it work with plex?

It does work with Plex – BUT – the Plex client on the device is using the Android TV interface. This means that it’s missing a bunch of features over the normal Android version, like syncing content to the device. The nVidia Shield TV has similar issues. But as long as you can connect it to WiFi, it works great to stream videos and music.

Any one has calculated with online projection calculator in projector1? how far i should put it away from wall if i want a 100” screen?

About 9.42ft away from the wall.

Does it work with iPhones?

Works well with iPhone. Need HDMI adapter not included with purchase. With a personal hotspot can play anywhere there is cell phone service.

Any difference between the red or black projectors?

It’s only the color difference

Will it fit on a standard camera tripod?

Yes

How long does the battery last? Does it need to be plugged in the entire time?

The battery lasts for a good while when using it as a projector. You can watch a 2-3 hour movie without connecting it. When you’re in Bluetooth Speaker mode, it lasts MUCH longer! But overall, you don’t need to have it plugged in the whole time, and even when you plug it in, it’s usually a fast charge.

Can you get the amazon prime video app on it?

Yes, I’m able to Bluetooth connect to a portable speaker as the built-in speaker doesn’t provide enough bass for me personally.

looks promising but I’ve questions is print info readable on PPt? Does room need to be dark? what is the projected screen showing? e.g 60” or less

Clarity is fantastic. Room needs to be dark. At 3 to 4 meters, the screen size is over 80 inches.

What does the ansi mean?

“ANSI Lumens” measures light output in a standardized way. This will compare the brightness of the projected image, over multiple spots.

Does this use class 1, class 2, or class 3 Bluetooth?

No idea. But this is my daughter’s projector and she uses iPhone 7 (and has had it in use since 12/2019, or 4 months).

Can you use it with a laptop?

It can receive wired input via HDMI, or wireless via AirPlay or Miracast(?). So it should be able to display from your laptop. The resolution is fairly low (about 800 x 480) so it’s not for reading text, like with writing your next novel or giving a text-heavy slide presentation. But it’s great for portable use.

Why doesn’t the Nebula Capsule work/allow video to play with the prime video app that was downloaded via the Aptoide TV app?

Not sure. We are able to watch stuff through prime.

Can you screen mirror directly from a galaxy s10?

Yes, the Capsule can screen mirror with Galaxy S10 via these steps:
a. Open “Screen mirroring” on Nebula via settings>general.
b. Open the “smart view” via the Pull-Down Menu on your phone.(https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mLLoL5GmlFo)
c. Select “Nebula-xxxxxx” to connect.
