Product Information

The Internal Li-Ion rechargeable battery A8205 is a replacement
battery designed exclusively for dataloggers from COMET SYSTEM,
s.r.o. The compatible dataloggers are U2422, U3430, U4440, U8410,
U0110M, U0121M, U0141M, U0843M, U3120M, U3121M, U3631M, U4440M,
U5841M, U6841M, U7844M, U8410M, U0110G, U0121G, U0141G, U0843G,
U3120G, U3121G, U3631G, U4440G, U5841G, U6841G, U7844G, and
U8410G.

WARNING: The replacement procedure should only
be carried out by a qualified service technician. Please read the
procedure in detail before replacing the battery. Additional

Product Usage Instructions

Turn off the device by pressing and holding down the lower
button. Release the button when the menu item bar lights up.
Briefly press the upper button and then press it again to select
OFF. Finally, press the lower button to turn off the device.
Unscrew the rear of the device where the battery is located
using a TORX T10 screwdriver.
Disconnect the old battery from the device.
Connect the USB charger to the device and wait until the full
battery symbol appears.
Turn on the device.

Vypnte pístroj: – stisknte dlouze dolní tlacítko a poté, co se rozsvítí ádek s polozkami menu, tlacítko uvolnte – krátce stisknte horní tlacítko – opakovaným krátkým stiskem horního tlacítka zvolte symbol OFF – zmácknutím dolního tlacítka pístroj vypnte.
Odsroubujte zadní díl pístroje, ve kterém je baterie umístna (pouzijte sroubovák TORX T10). Odpojte starou baterii od pístroje. K pístroji pipojte USB nabíjecku a vyckejte az na displeji bude trvale svítit symbol pln
nabité baterie (viz obr.). Pokud byla pvodní baterie v pístroji zcela vybitá nebo poskozená, pak mze být, pro dosazení tohoto stavu, poteba navíc jednou krátce odpojit a znovu pipojit externí napájení (USB konektor). Vybalte novou baterii A8205, zkontrolujte a pípadn upravte polohu tsnní v drázce. Porovnejte údaj o kapacit staré a nové baterie, pokud se lisí, kontaktujte výrobce nebo distributora zaízení. Znovu ovte, zda na displeji svítí symbol pln nabité baterie a teprve poté pipojte novou baterii k pístroji – ! nedodrzení tohoto kroku mze vést ke znicení nové baterie ! Pístroj sestavte (opatrn dotáhnte srouby). Pístroj nechte nabít do plného stavu (symbol pln nabité baterie musí trvale svítit):
– pi nabíjení musí být pístroj umístn ve vnitních prostorách s vlhkostí max. 85 % – nabíjení bude probíhat pouze pi vnitní teplot pístroje v rozmezí 0 ºC az 40 ºC. Zapnte pístroj.

Turn off the device: – press and hold down the lower button and release the button when the menu item bar lights up – briefly press the upper button – press the upper button briefly again to select OFF – press the lower button to turn off the device.
Unscrew the rear of the device where the battery is located (use the TORX T10 screwdriver). Disconnect the old battery from the device. Connect the USB charger to the device and wait until the full battery symbol will be
permanently lit (see fig.). If the original battery in the device has been completely discharged or damaged, then it may be necessary to briefly disconnect and reconnect the external power supply (USB connector) once again to reach this state. Unpack the new A8205 battery, check and, if necessary, adjust the position of the seal in the groove. Compare the nominal capacity data of the old and new battery, if they differ, contact the manufacturer or distributor of the device. Again check that the fully charged battery symbol is on the display and then connect the new battery to the device -! failure to observe this step can lead to the destruction of a new battery ! Assemble the device (the screws tighten gently). Charge the unit fully (full-battery symbol must be permanently lit). When charging, the device must be installed indoors with a maximum humidity of 85 %, at an indoor temperature ranging between 0 °C and +40 °C.
Turn device ON.
