Safety instruction
Electrical products can cause death or injury damage to property. If in any doubt about the installation or use of this product, please consult a qualified electrician.
- Before mounting and maintenance please make sure that the electrical supply has been switched off to avoid electric shock.
- The light must be earthed.
- Replace the cracked protection glass immediately and use only the original parts to substitute.
- Before maintenance work, the power should be switched off. The maintenance should be done only by a qualified electrician.
Installation:
- Select a suitable location for the luminaire.
- Remove the bracket from the luminaire, and mark the wall with appropriate fixing positions. Before drilling, ensure that the hole does not impinge on pipework, cables, or other building services.
- Mount the bracket on the wall and re-attach the luminaire.
- The luminaire is supplied with 0.75m of HO7RN-F 3G1.5mm2 rubber cable.
- This product has no user-serviceable parts. If any part is damaged, disconnect from mains and discontinue use. Remark: The fitting does not provide “assembly screws” please use the proper screw to install the product.
Information for the product user
- Please note the requirement to dispose of Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment separately from household waste (WEEE marked with crossed out wheelie bin symbol).
- Please consider your role in contributing to re-use and recycling by returning this product at end of life to a collection center for waste electrical equipment or a Civic Amenity site, or to a retail outlet from which you are purchasing a replacement.
- This equipment may contain substances that are hazardous to health and the environment if disposed of carelessly. It is important that it is separated from normal household waste and recycled in the WEEE chain.
- The “crossed out wheelie bin symbol” on a product indicates this equipment must not be disposed of in normal household waste but should be disposed of according to local WEEE regulations.
- If the external flexible cable or cord is damaged, it shall be replaced by the manufacturer’s agreed-on service points or qualified electricians.
- Please note that the product is mounted on the wall, and kept with no vibrating during normal use.
The products were IP65 for protection against ingress of dust, solid objects, and moisture, the means for connecting to supply shall have the same or higher degree of protection.
