They are not the Minolta cameras of old, which had the Minolta lens mount that was taken over by Sony, and is called now the Sony A mount. If you already have Minolta lenses checkout Sony A mount cameras, as they may fit. Essential to look the lenses up on the Dyxum database or Wikipedia to confirm they fit before buying a camera, as early Minolta lenses also will not fit.
It’s a rechargeable battery, no need for replacements, charge from mains or PC/USB outlet…if the battery is broken or will not charge I would think there easy to get. Very easy to remove from camera. note if charging from mains use plug that comes with camera not one from phone or other electrical item.
