Product Usage Instructions

To ensure the optimal usage and performance of the
STR-DN1080/ZA810ES, please follow these instructions:

  1. Keep your PC used for service and checking of this unit always
    updated with the latest version of your anti-virus software to
    prevent any virus affecting the unit during service.
  2. In case you find a virus affected unit during service, contact
    your Service Headquarters for further assistance.
  3. Connect the appropriate speakers to the front, center,
    surround, and surround back speaker terminals of the receiver.
  4. Make sure the power requirements match your region: USA,
    Canada, Taiwan – 120 V AC, 60 Hz | Oceania, Europe – 230 V AC, 50
    Hz.
  5. Adjust the analog input sensitivity and digital input impedance
    settings based on your audio source’s specifications.
  6. Connect your video devices to the designated video
    inputs/outputs using standard RCA cables.
  7. Set the HDMI video resolution according to your display
    device’s capabilities and preferences.
  8. Ensure Bluetooth compatibility with your iPhone, iPad, iPod
    touch, and other devices as specified in the manual. Use the
    SongPal app for enhanced control and functionality.
  9. When using the USB port, connect a USB flash drive for media
    playback. Note that iPhone/iPad/iPod playback via USB is not
    supported.
  10. For network connectivity, use the Ethernet LAN or wireless LAN
    (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n) based on your network configuration. Ensure
    proper security settings (WPA/WPA2-PSK, WEP) and select the
    appropriate radio frequency (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz).
  11. Pair your Bluetooth-enabled devices with the receiver using
    Bluetooth Specification version 4.1. Ensure line-of-sight
    communication within approximately 30 meters (98.4 feet) for
    optimal signal strength.
