Introduction
This chic carafe is made specifically to work with the Keurig 2.0 brewing system, ensuring that your beverage is kept at the ideal temperature. With vacuum insulated technology and double-walled stainless steel construction, the Keurig Thermal Carafe helps retain heat and keeps beverages within 5 degrees of their initial temperature for 30 minutes after brewing. With Keurig K-Cup, K-Duo Series, Rivo, or Vue brewers, the Keurig 2.0 Carafe is incompatible.

Enjoy your favorite beverages from the first Keurig system to brew a single cup and a 4-cup carafe at the touch of a button. All with the simplicity and convenience you’ve come to expect from Keurig.
The Keurig™ Carafe is specially designed to work with your Keurig® 2.0 brewer. It features a sensor that tells your brewer when the carafe is placed properly. The sensor also signals to the brewer to display the appropriate brew menu and will alert the brewer to stop brewing if the carafe is removed during the brewing process.
KEURIG™ CARAFE USE AND CARE
- Make sure the Keurig™ Carafe is empty and the lid is on securely. Remove the Drip Tray and insert the Keurig™ Carafe in its place.
- Select a K-CarafeTM pod, place firmly in the Pod Holder and lower the Handle.
- Select a Brew Size.
- Press the Brew Button. Your beverage is ready when the Touchscreen says “Enjoy.”
- Clean the carafe with a nonabrasive cloth in warm soapy water.
NOTE
Make sure the number on the Touch Display matches the number of the K-CarafeTM pod you’re brewing in the Pod Holder.

Your Keurig® 2.0 brewer will not work with pods that do not have a Keurig® logo on them.
CAUTION
There are sharp needles that puncture the K-CarafeTM pod above and below the Pod Holder. To avoid injury, do not put your fingers in the Pod Holder.
CAUTION
There is extremely hot water in the K-CarafeTM pod during the brew process. To avoid injury, do not lift the Handle during the brew process.
CAUTION
After brewing, the Keurig™ Carafe will contain extremely hot liquid. Take care when pouring from the Keurig™ Carafe. Never place your hand over the Keurig™ Carafe where hot steam is venting. Never allow children to use the Keurig™ Carafe or operate the brewer without adult supervision. Press the Power Button to terminate the brew process. Follow the instructions on the Touch Display before removing the Keurig™ Carafe. The brewer will return to the home screen. Remove and discard the used K-CarafeTM pod.

Yes, that’s how Keurig ensures you purchase their goods. To access the other options, a magnet in a tiny notch at the base of the coffee maker must be turned on. They also include that magnet mate in the base of the carafes they sell. If you didn’t want to buy the large K-pods, there are ways to avoid using them as well as hacks on the internet to get around that restriction.

The carafe in question is said to fit all 2.0 models. We recently purchased a 525 plus 2.0 from Costco, and it functions flawlessly. The bump out has a magnet that signals to the 2.0 OS that it is in place.
