Drain pump Installation Steps

Drain pump Installation | 1-1 Remove the air filter and rubber. | ||
| 1-2 Assemble the float switch on the drain pump and then using two screws install the drain pump as seen in the picture. | |||
| 1-3 Connect the drain hose . Note: 1:Make the drain rubber pipe tightly with the Pump Motor and add a cable tie so that it does not get removed. 2.Use two screws fix the drain hose socket. |

Wire Connection and Swith Setting | 2-1 Drain pump wire connection. The port of the drain pump boday connection wire is yellow. The port of float switch connection wire is black. | ||
| 2-2-1 Setting an indoor unit installation option (SEG 8) 2-2-2 Drain pump(SEG8) will be set to ‘Disuse’ ‘Use’ and ‘USE+3minutes delay’. Note: Option is defined as follows. a.Disuse 1. Use 2. When an indoor unit stops, drain pump will operate for 3 minutes. | |||
| 2-3 Bundle up the drain pump connection wire. | |||
| 2-4 Install the cover board of the control box. |

Drain Hose Installation | 3-1 Install the drain hose,tighten it with a screw driver. About its installation, Refer the installation of the hose. | ||
| 3-2 Wrap the drain hose by sealing sponge. | |||
| 3-3 Insert the drain hose with an insulated protective tube. | |||
| 3-4 Strap it by tie. |

Block the drain hose | 4-1 Insert the chock plug into end of the drain hose on the water basin. In order to avoid leakage,make sure to install the chock plug.After installing,its end must be close to end of the drain hose. | ||
| 4-2 Wrap end of the drain hose by sealing sponge,and strap it by tie. | |||

Drainage test | 5-1 Inject water to the water basin,check operation state of the drain pump. After installing the drain pump,make sure to test drainage,so as to avoid unsmooth waterway and prevent overflowing of water from the indoor unit. | ||
