QUICK SETUPMontarbo M6S Active Near-Field Monitors fig 4

  • Place the speakers in correct position.
With the device off, set the main level volume to minus infinity
  • Perform the necessary connections of the audio sources (XLR, TRS balanced, RCA unbalanced)Montarbo M6S Active Near-Field Monitors fig 5
  • Connect the power supply unit and switch the devices on
  • Adjust the audio level and any equalization on the back depending on the optimisation required for listening.

INSTALLATION TIPS

For optimal positioning, set the speakers in vertical position at ear height (preferably use the midpoint between woofer and tweeter as a reference). slightly tilted towards the listener. It is advisable to mechanically decouple the monitors from the desk with proper insulating foam supports (not included) to avoid undesired resonances. Avoid frontal obstacles that may cover the reflex openings or the transducers.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The loudspeaker will not turn on

  • Check that power supply is present upstream of the installation.
  • Ensure that the power supply cable is properly plugged in.

Resonances are heard, in particular on low frequencies

  • Follow the installation tips, and use the EQ controls on the rear to correct any unwanted reflections caused by the monitor position in the listening room.
