SAFETY ADVICE FOR THE USE OF CAR CHILD RESTRAINTS
This box contains a “universal” child restraint. It is approved by ECE R 44/04 for general use in vehicles and it will fit most but not all car seats. A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared that the vehicle is capable of accepting a “universal” child restraint for this age group. This child restraint has been classified as “universal” under more stringent conditions than those applied to earlier designs that do not carry this notice. Only suitable if the vehicle is fitted with a 3point static or 3-point retractor safety belt, approved to UN/EC regulation no. 16 or another equivalent standard. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer. Never use this car seat fitted on the front seat of a vehicle with a front airbag; use only if the front airbag is deactivated: check with the car manufacturer or see the owner’s manual of your car for instructions on how to deactivate the airbag.
