C.A 6131 Electrical Installation Tester

Product Information: C.A 6131 – C.A 6133 Electrical
Installation Testers

The C.A 6131 and C.A 6133 are low-voltage electrical
installation testers that are designed to test the safety of
electrical installations. They can be used to check new
installations before powering them up, inspect existing
installations, and troubleshoot any dysfunctions. The testers are
compliant with applicable standards and are ideal for use by
inspection organizations. The testers have the following
features:

  • Earth measurement by stake and loop methods
  • Continuity measurement at 0.2A
  • Insulation testing
  • RCD testing: current and trip time
  • Automatic test sequences
  • Storage of test results
  • Android application for report generation
  • Power supply by mains-rechargeable batteries, USB socket or
    vehicle cigarette lighter
  • 600 V CAT III
  • IP 54 protection rating

The testers come with accessories such as a carrying bag, neck
strap, mains cable, safety cables, crocodile clips, test probe,
batteries, user manual, quick startup guide, safety datasheet, and
test report with measurement report. The C.A 6133 also comes with a
USB power supply, razor-type USB power cable, and battery
information sheet.

Product Usage Instructions:

To use the electrical installation testers, follow these
steps:

  1. Connect the tester to the installation using the appropriate
    cables and probes.
  2. Select the type of test you want to perform from the menu.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the test.
  4. Once the test is complete, the results will be stored in the
    tester’s memory.
  5. You can generate a report using the Android application or by
downloading the results to a computer.
  6. The testers can be powered by mains-rechargeable batteries, USB
    socket, or vehicle cigarette lighter.
  7. The testers have a long battery life and can perform over 1,900
    continuity measurements at 1 A (C.A 6131) or over 1,700 continuity
    measurements at 1 A (C.A 6133).
  8. The testers have a backlit LCD display that shows the
    measurements and recorded results.
  9. The testers have a magnetized casing for easy mounting and a
    neck strap for hands-free use.

It is important to follow all safety guidelines and applicable
standards when using the electrical installation testers.

Automatic test sequence

Current measurement

Save time! The AUTO-RCD automatic test sequence performs the following operations: – the No-Trip test, the Trip test at 1 x In and the Trip test at 5 x In, – if necessary, the Trip test in ramp mode. A single press on the backup buttons saves all the tests performed. Another automatic test sequence is also available which performs the following tests, successively:

The MN73A clamp is recognized automatically when it is connected, as is the measurement calibre.
