CS8221 Krystal Clear Saltwater System and Filter Pump
Product Information
The Krystal ClearTM Saltwater System & Filter Pump is a
product designed for use with portable above-ground pools. The
system is available in two models: Model CS8221 (220 – 230 V~) and
Model CS8231 (230 – 240 V~). The product is manufactured by Intex
and is designed to provide clean, clear, and safe water for
swimming and other water activities.
Product Usage Instructions
Before installing and using the Krystal ClearTM Saltwater System
& Filter Pump, it is important to read and understand all
instructions provided in the owner’s manual. Failure to follow the
instructions may result in property damage, electric shock,
entanglement, or other serious injury or death.
Step 1: Preparation
Make sure that the pool is clean and free of debris before
setting up the system. Connect the hoses provided with the system
to the inlet and outlet ports on the pool. The hoses should be long
enough to reach the location where the system will be set up.
Step 2: Installation
Locate a flat, stable surface near an electrical outlet where
the system can be set up. Place the system on the surface and
connect the hoses to the inlet and outlet ports on the system. Make
sure that all connections are secure and tight.
Step 3: Operation
Plug the system into an electrical outlet and turn it on. The
system will start filtering the water and producing chlorine to
keep it clean and clear. Follow the instructions provided in the
owner’s manual to adjust the settings on the system as needed.
Step 4: Maintenance
Regular maintenance is important to ensure that the system
continues to function properly and provide clean, safe water for
swimming. Follow the instructions provided in the owner’s manual to
clean and maintain the system on a regular basis.
Step 5: Shutdown
When it is time to shut down the system, turn it off and unplug
it from the electrical outlet. Disconnect the hoses from the inlet
and outlet ports on the system and on the pool. Store the system
and hoses in a safe, dry location until they are needed again.
By following these usage instructions and taking proper care of
the Krystal ClearTM Saltwater System & Filter Pump, you can
enjoy clean, clear, and safe water for swimming and other water
activities.

· Children must stay away from this product and electrical cord(s). · Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. · This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge. They must at all times be supervised by a knowledgeable and experienced adult responsible for their safety. · Assembly and disassembly by adults only. · Risk of electric shock. Connect this product only to a grounding type receptacle protected by a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) or residual current device (RCD). Contact a qualified electrician if you cannot verify that the receptacle is protected by a GFCI/RCD. Use a qualified electrician to install the GFCI/RCD, which has a maximum rate of 30mA. Do not use a portable residual current device (PRCD). · Always unplug this product from the electrical outlet before removing, cleaning, servicing or making any adjustment to the product. · The plug must be accessible after product is installed. · Do not bury the electrical cord. Locate the cord where it will not be damaged by lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and other equipment. · If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. · To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use extension cords, timers, plug adaptors or converter plugs to connect unit to electric supply; provide a properly located outlet. · Do not attempt to plug in or unplug this product while standing in water or when your hands are wet. · Keep this product more than 2m away from the pool. · Keep this product more than 3.5m away from the pool (for France only). · Keep the plug of this product more than 3.5m away from the pool. · Position this product away from the pool, so as to prevent children from climbing on it and accessing the pool. · Do not operate this product when the pool is occupied. · This product is for use with storable pools only. Do not use with permanently installed pools. A storable pool is constructed so that it may be readily disassembled for storage and reassembled to its original configuration. · This product is intended to be used only for the purposes described in the manual!
