Product Information
The Apria Sleep Therapy, formerly known as 3B Medical, Inc., is
a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) and Bilevel therapy
device. It is designed to deliver a continuous flow of pressurized
air to help individuals with sleep apnea breathe more easily during
sleep. The device comes with various features such as a water
chamber for humidification, air outlet for connecting tubing, and a
start/stop button for easy operation. Additionally, the device may
include a wireless modem for transmitting data.
Product Usage Instructions
- Place the device on a firm flat surface.
- Connect the power cord: Insert the plug of the power adapter
into the DC inlet on the back of the device. Connect the other end
of the power cord into the power outlet. - Connect the end of the tubing to the air outlet of the device.
If using heated tubing, connect the heated tubing joint to the air
outlet of the device and insert the power plug into the heated
tubing port on the back of the device. - Press down the water chamber, remove it, and open the water
chamber cap. Fill the water chamber with approximately 360 ml of
water. Close the cap after filling and return it to the
device. - If you received an SD card, insert it into the SD card slot
(Note: Newer devices may not require an SD card). - Connect the device to a power outlet and press the Start/Stop
button to start delivering air. - Fit your mask according to the fitting instructions provided by
the manufacturer. If you received a mask with multiple cushions,
try different sizes if necessary. - Attach the tubing to your mask.
- Put on your mask.
- Attach the tubing to the PAP machine.
- Lie down and take four deep breaths. The machine should start
automatically. If not, press the Start Therapy/Standby button and
begin taking slow breaths through your nose. - Check for air leaks. Small leaks are acceptable, but consult
your user guide if large leaks occur. - Your setup is complete. You are now ready to begin your PAP
therapy!
Note: If you have a BPAP device, refer to the user guide for
specific instructions on connecting the Power Cord Locker. If using
prescribed oxygen, consult page 11 in your Apria Sleep Therapy User
Guide for attaching the tubing.

Note about WiFi: Your device has a wireless modem and will transmit without connecting. Unless you purchased a wireless modem separately, you do not need to connect to WiFi.
8 Fit your mask. If your doctor prescribed a
specific mask and size, follow the fitting instructions provided by the manufacturer. If you received a mask with multiple cushions, follow these instructions:
There is a mask cushion currently attached to the frame of your mask. This size fits most patients. Once you begin therapy, if your mask is leaking or feels uncomfortable, try removing the existing cushion and replacing it with a different size cushion. If you are between sizes, it is best to use the larger cushion. Use the Fitting Template (for nasal mask and full face mask) and/or the manufacturer’s instructions included with your mask for help.

11 Attach the tubing to your mask.

12 Lie down and take four deep breaths.
The machine should start automatically. If you do not hear the machine start, press the Start Therapy/Standby button. Relax and begin to take slow breaths through your nose. See User Guide page 13
