Are the brushes on your DeepClean Essential carpet cleaner not turning?
- If your machine is turned on and in the upright position your brushes will not turn, this is normal
- Once you recline your handle, the brushes will begin to spin
- If the brushes are not spinning when the handle is reclined, turn the power off and unplug the machine
- Remove the tank before inspecting machine to make sure you don’t spill
- Check to see if anything is caught in the brush roll or if there is damage to the brush or belt
- If there is anything caught in the brushes, remove the debris and try turning the brushes by hand
- Plug the machine in, recline the handle to see if the brushes rotate
- Sometimes the brushes spin so fast they don’t appear to be spinning
If the brushes still don’t spin, please take the machine to a BISSELL Authorized Service Center
