Using Your Headphones
- Place earcups over corresponding ear (“L” over left ear, “R” over right ear).
- Push hair back, extend the earcups from headband until they fit comfortably over ear, creating a snug fit to ensure highest quality and comfort.
- Wear headphones with the cord hanging in front of your head to ensure headphones stay put during strenuous activity.
- Insert straight plug into earcup.
Using Call/Music Control Feature on select Smartphones*
- During music playback
- Click play button once to pause and again to resume playback
- Click play button twice quickly to track forward
- Click play button three times quickly to track backward
- During calls
- Click play button once to answer incoming call, click once to end call
- Press and hold play button down for about two seconds to decline an incoming call
- Click play button once to switch over to call waiting, click again to switch back to original call

Protecting Your Headphones
- Minimize exposure to moisture. Not intended for use while swimming, bathing or showering
- Use provided carrying case while idle
- Keep headphones clean and free of debris
- Do not pull on cable to disconnect plug from device
- do not wrap cable around MP3 player while still plugged in as it puts unnecessary pressure on plug-cord connection.

Cleaning Your Headphones
To keep your headphones clean, periodically wipe with a dry cloth.
Note on Static Electricity
In particularly dry air conditions, mild tingling may be felt on your ears. This is a result of static electricity accumulated in the body, and not a malfunction of the headphones. Wearing clothes made from natural materials can minimize the effect.

V-MODA warrants the owner of the product against defects in materials or workmanship as declared below:
- V-MODA will repair or replace the product at no charge for two (2) years from the date of purchase.

“V-Moda Crossfade LP2 = Low end is boosted, Mid end is boosted, High end is relaxed aka laid back a bit the end result is that these are WARM sound signature. ATH-M50X is a V/U Shaped sound signature that means the mids are relaxed while the low and high end are “normal” volume with a tiny boost to low and high end).” My opinion is I’d get the LP2 if you value low end and mid end in audio, treble will be relaxed so you can listen to music louder without ear fatigue. If you don’t mind having ear fatigue get the 50X for a more neutral sound but it’s not real neutral because the mids are relaxed which in end gives emphasis to low end and high end causing you to have boomy bass and shrill highs basically I don’t understand why people like that sound signature? M40X has a mild u shape sound signature and sounds non fatiguing. LP2 is just a fun warm sounding signature with a nice little soundstage. while the M50X lacks a soundstage.”
I think LP2 has more bump in bass than the M50X but M50X has more of a U shape sound signature so it’s gonna have mids recessed while highs and lows are strong. Yet the V-MODA has strong lows (bass), and mids, while the highs are sort of recessed aka this headset, is “WARM” while M50X is “V-Shape” (It’s more U Shaped) aka FUN. Strong BASS, Strong Highs, Recessed Mids, while the LP2 seems better for a majority of music. Because bass (lows) and mids are predominately used in pop music, rock music, electronic music. Don’t forget highs are still there in those music but it’s rolled off with the LP2. They are still there just it rolls off somewhere in a frequency related to the CYMBALS. So if you like strong cymbals don’t get LP2 get the 50X. But I myself have a hard time of wanting to keep either one because the M50X has it’s uses but I feel like the LP2 is just better for a majority of genres I listen to. Recessed mids aren’t all that great for rock and other music that uses mid range frequencies. Plus I am not a fan of shrill sibilant treble. I like my earphones/headphones to have treble but I also want the Lows and Mids to be strong. So LP2 is a great start for that signature.
No, they do not fold. They come with a case that holds them well.
Try burning in your headphones. Just play music at a reasonable volume for several hours every day for about 4 or 5 days. You don’t have to listen to them, just let them play. This should help to improve the drivers and make them sound better. If they still don’t sound right, it may be your phone. You may want to look for a protable dac/amp if this is the case.
At reasonable levels no but I got the xl pads and that helps reduce outside sound levels too. These are fantastic headphones
They are noise-isolating to a point. On a flight, they would be perfect if your listening to a movie or music, the power and depth of the sound is way more than enough to drown out crying babies and chatter, even at low volume. Don’t expect them to act as earplugs as you try to sleep when not playing anything, they don’t have any active noise canceling.
It’s a mute/pause switch for music or u can answer calls by pressing it.. Don’t think it’s a mute switch on a call
This is a Professional DJ headphone. DJ’s doesn’t heard themselves. Depends on the volume you’re using. Mine for example… doesn’t have the mic/vol control.
It depends what your using them for. I use vmoda to listen to the FINAL mix of a project but I use mainly my Mackie cr3 and audio technicas for every thing else.

It probably works with the PS4 however it is better to use the Vmoda BoomPro cable for gaming as it has better mic quality than the standard and comes in with a mute control and volume adjust. I heard the BoomPro cable from Vmoda works 100% compatible with the PS4.

Very, very shody product. Had to return as ear cup was hanging off . What a bummer. Don’t waste your money
It is equilized with bass in mind but they did not over-emphasize the bass. It’s clean and accurate and blends in well with most genres. Some acoustic music sounds a little heavy in the low end but not too unnatural. And nothing a little eq adjustment can’t take care of. the headphones were designed for rock bass reggae edm-type music but it will appease a casual listener of any genre. Don’t buy these if you are looking for a flat frequency response. The noise does leak at high volumes but that is to be expected with any over-ear monitor. The seal on your head is superb though so it’s not an outstanding amount. don’t be ashamed to let the world hear your groovy tunes.
