Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Turn off the power of the monitor.
  2. To remove the stand:
    1. Use hands or a bar scraper to disassemble the rear cover from
      the middle frame.
    2. Place the U4924DW monitor on the U4919DW curve sponge jig.
    3. Press and hold the stand release button at the back of the
      display.
    4. Follow the disassembly order: Left Side/Right Side => Top
      Side => Bottom Side.
    5. Lift the stand assembly up and away from the monitor.
  3. Unplug CTRL BD FFC from I/F BD to take off the rear cover.
  4. Tear off LBL USB from the front bezel of the panel gently.
  5. Unlock 8 screws on the rear cover.
  6. Tear off a tape from the rear cover and tear off CTRL BD FFC
    from the rear cover.
  7. Unlock 3 screws to disassemble CTRL BD from the rear
    cover.
  8. Tear off a mylar from CTRL BD.
  9. Tear off a tape from WIRE 12/12P and unplug it from I/F
    BD.
  10. Unplug speaker wire from I/F BD and tear off 7 tapes from the
    speaker wire.
  11. Unlock 8 screws to disassemble the speaker from the middle
    frame.
  12. Press up on the USB BD module to let it slide down.
  13. Tear off tapes from USB BD wires and I/F BD.
  14. Unplug the following USB BD wires from I/F BD.
  15. Disassemble 2 springs from the middle frame.
  16. Unplug 2 LED Driver BD to Panel wires from LED Driver BD.
  17. Unlock 7 screws to disassemble Main SHD.
  18. Unlock 4 screws to disassemble USB BD module from the middle
    frame.
  19. Take off USB BD Module from the middle frame.
  20. Tear off yellow tape and acetate tape from WIRE COAX EDP 60P
    and unplug WIRE COAX EDP 60P from the panel.
  21. Take off Main SHD from the panel.
  22. Unlock 22 screws to disassemble the middle frame and
    disassemble the middle frame from the panel.
  23. Disassemble COVER QAP B from COVER QAP-F.
  24. Disassemble 7 panel boss from the panel.
  25. Unlock 2 screws to disassemble USB BD.
  26. Tear off two tapes from LED Driver BD to Panel wires and unplug
    2 LED Driver BD to Panel wires from the panel.
  27. Disassemble USB BD from COVER QAP-F.
  28. Tear off the logo from the panel.
  29. Tear off 2 tapes from USB BD and USB wires as shown in the
    picture.
  30. Disassemble Mylar from Main SHD.
  31. Unplug the following wires from USB BD:
    • WIRE 12/12P
    • WIRE COAX USB3 G2 40P
    • WIRE COAX USB3 G2 20P
  32. Unlock 10 PCBA screws and disassemble LED Driver BD from Main
    SHD. Unplug LED Driver BD to I/F BD wire from LED Driver BD.
  33. Disassemble I/F BD from Main SHD.
  34. Unplug LED Driver BD to I/F BD wire and SPS BD to I/F BD wire
    from I/F BD.
  35. Unplug WIRE COAX EDP 60P from I/F BD and tear off a tape from
    WIRE COAX EDP 60P.
  36. Unplug SPS BD to I/F BD wire and WIRE AC+3/3P from SPS BD, then
    disassemble SPS BD from Main SHD. Unlock a screw and disassemble
    WIRE AC+3/3P from Main SHD.
  37. Remove electrolyte capacitors (red mark) from printed circuit
    boards:
    1. Cut the glue between bulk cap. and PCB with a knife. Ensure
      cutting path within the glue, don’t touch bulk cap. or PCB.
    2. Take out bulk cap. pin solder with a soldering iron and
      absorber.
    3. Lift the bulk cap. up and away from the PCB.

1. Disassembly Procedures

Frame

Place U4924DW monitor on U4919DW curve sponge jig
Press and hold the stand release button at the back of the display.

Notice the disassembly order:
Left Side/ Right Side=>Top Side=> Bottom Side

Lift the stand assembly up and away from the monitor

Unplug “CTRL BD FFC” from I/F BD to take off Rear Cover

Tear off ” LBL USB” from the front bezel of panel gently

Tear off a tape from Rear Cover Tear off “CTRL BD FFC” from Rear

Cover

Unlock 3 screws to disassemble “CTRL BD” from Rear Cover

(Screw Torque: 8-10 Kgf)

(Screw Torque: 2.0+0.5 Kgf)

Tear off a tape from “WIRE 12/12P” and unplug it from I/F BD

S9 Unplug speaker wire from I/F BD Tear off 7 tapes from speaker wire.
Unlock 8 screws to disassemble speaker from Middle Frame

(Screw Torque: 5~6 Kgf)

Press up on the USB BD module to let it slide down.

Tear off tapes from USB BD wires and I/F BD

Unplug following USB BD wires from I/F BD

Unplug “WIRE COAX EDP 60P” from Panel

Take off Main SHD from panel

Disassemble Middle Frame from panel.

Tear off 2 Mylar from the connectors (See red mark)

Unplug 2 “LED Driver BD to Panel wires” from panel

Tear off a tape from “WIRE COAX EDP 60P”

Unplug “SPS BD to I/F BD wire” and “WIRE AC+3/3P” from SPS BD, then,

disassemble SPS BD from Main SHD

Unlock a screw and disassemble “WIRE AC+3/3P” from Main SHD

S36-1 Cut the glue between bulk cap. and PCB with a knife
S36-2 Ensure cutting path within the glue, don’t touch bulk cap. or PCB
