The SP-2570N is a ceiling-mounted speaker that is compatible with a wide variety of Aiphone intercoms, as well as third-party amplifiers. This guide provides an overview of the speaker’s output options and suggested settings for different applications.
Wattage Taps
The SP-2570N provides taps for both 25V and 70V outputs. There is also a direct 8 tap that can be disconnected from the SP2570N’s transformer to attach to another source.

These are only general guidelines. Every site is different and may require different volume levels.
- High noise areas or rooms with ceilings 10-12 feet tall: 2.5W or 5W
- Offices or installed in drop tile ceilings: 1.25W
- Quiet areas, hallways or rooms with low ceilings: 0.625W
- Restrooms: 0.325W
- Connection to an Aiphone station with an 8 output: Direct 8 tap. See instructions for the specific station for more information.
