Product Information: Janome Sewing Machine
The Janome sewing machine is a versatile and user-friendly
device that comes with a variety of features and accessories to
make sewing easier and more efficient. The machine is equipped with
utility feet and stitches that allow users to create different
types of stitches and patterns. The machine comes with a foot pedal
and power cord for easy operation, along with an instruction manual

In addition to the machine, users will need to have other
supplies such as empty bobbins, needles, thread, scissors, and pins
to get started with their sewing projects. These items can be
purchased from the Sewing Center of Santa Fe.
Product Usage Instructions
1. Set up the machine: Connect the power cord and foot pedal to
the machine. Place the machine on a sturdy table or desk with
enough space to maneuver the fabric.
2. Thread the machine: Follow the instructions in the manual to
thread the machine and wind an empty bobbin. Use 50wt colored
thread (poly or cotton) that contrasts with the fabric to make it
easier to see the stitches.
3. Choose a stitch: Select a stitch from the stitch supply list
in the manual based on your project requirements. Attach the
appropriate foot to the machine based on the type of stitch you
want to create.
4. Start sewing: Place the fabric under the needle and lower the
presser foot. Use the foot pedal to control the speed of the
machine and guide the fabric along the desired path. Use scissors
and pins as needed to cut and hold the fabric in place.
5. Finish the project: Once you have completed your project,
turn off the machine and unplug it. Clean and store the machine and
accessories in a safe place until the next use.
