Product Usage Instructions

Before using the product, familiarize yourself with all
operating and safety instructions provided in the manual. Follow
the below instructions for safe and effective usage of the
product:

1. Ensure that the product is suitable for your intended use and
   is used only as described and for the specified range of
   applications.
2. Ensure that the appliance is only used in dry indoor areas and
   not for commercial purposes.
3. Ensure that children under the age of 8 do not use the
   appliance as a toy and that any user with limited physical,
   sensory, or mental capabilities is supervised.
4. Avoid applying excessive pressure on the tips during use to
   prevent bending. Careless use of the appliance can cause a
   fire.
5. Ensure that the mains cable does not come into contact with
   heat, oil or sharp edges to avoid short circuits and electric
   shocks.
6. Remove any flammable objects, liquids, and gases from the
   working area of the appliance before use. Keep your work area clean
   and tidy to help prevent accidents.
7. Before use, always check that the tool tip is properly fitted
   into the appliance and keep the hot tool tip and its fitting away
   from skin, hair, etc. to prevent burns.
8. After use, place the appliance on its stand and allow it to
   cool down before putting it away. Do not leave the appliance
   unattended while it is in operation.
9. When the appliance is not in use, store it in a safe place away

vapours or gases. Wear protective clothing. Disconnect the appliance from the power source during longer work breaks. Observe all national and international safety, health and occupational health regu-

Fitting/changing the tips

Never heat the branding iron without a tip .
Tips should only be removed when the appliance is unplugged and once the tip has cooled down.
The tips have a screw thread and can therefore be quickly and easily removed from the branding iron .
Unscrew the tip anticlockwise. Screw in the tip clockwise.

Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! Always pull the mains plug out of the mains socket and let the appliance cool down before you carry out any work on the appliance. Always clean the appliance after completion of work. To clean the housing, use a cloth and a mild detergent if necessary. Never use sharp objects, petrol, solvents or cleaning agents that can damage plastic. Do not allow any liquids to get into the interior of the appliance.

Disposal
Do not dispose of power tools in the normal domestic waste! The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin means that this appliance is subject to Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive states that this appliance may not be disposed of in the normal household waste at the end of its useful life, but must be taken to specially set-up collection locations, recycling depots or disposal companies. This disposal is free of charge for the user. Protect the environment and dispose of this appliance properly.

Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how to dispose of the worn-out product.

Do not dispose of batteries in your normal household waste!
Defective or worn-out rechargeable batteries must be recycled according to Directive 2006/66/EC. Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be treated as hazardous waste and must therefore be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner by appropriate bodies (dealers, specialist dealers, public municipal bodies, commercial disposal companies). Dear Customer, This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt in a safe place. This will be required as proof of purchase. If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This warranty service requires that you present the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within the three-year warranty period, along with a brief written description of the fault and of when it occurred. If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Uses and actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be avoided. This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

Er dient als Gerät zur Markierung und zum Beschriften von Holz, Leder und Kork mit Hilfe beheizter Metallstempel bzw. beheizten Spitzen. Bei Druck können die dünnen Spitzen verbiegen. Ein Brand kann entstehen wenn mit dem Gerät nicht sorgsam umgegangen wird. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht mit Hitze, Öl oder scharfen Kan-
ten in Verbindung kommt. Beschädigte Anschlussleitungen können Brände, Kurzschlüsse und elektrische Schläge verursachen. Entfernen Sie vor der Benutzung brennbare Gegenstände, Flüssigkeiten und Gase aus dem Arbeitsbereich des Gerätes. Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich sauber um Unfällen vorzubeugen. Prüfen Sie vor der Benutzung, ob die Werkzeugspitze ordnungsgemäß am Gerät angebracht ist. Die heiße Werkzeugspitze und deren Aufnahme darf nicht mit Haut, Haaren etc. in Verbindung gebracht werden. Verbrennungsgefahr. Nach Gebrauch das Gerät auf den Ablageständer auflegen und abkühlen lassen, bevor es weggepackt wird. Das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen, solange es in Betrieb ist. Wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird, bewahren Sie es an einem sicheren Ort und vor Staub und Feuchtigkeit geschützt auf. Das Gerät auf Beschädigungen überprüfen. Bei Beschädigungen nicht verwenden! Während des Betriebs für ausreichende Belüftung sorgen. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine giftigen Dämpfe oder Gase eingeatmet werden. Schutzkleidung tragen. Bei längeren Arbeitsunterbrechungen das Gerät von der Spannungsquelle trennen. Nationale und internationale Sicherheits-, Gesundheits-, und Arbeitsschutzvorschriften sind zu beachten.

VORSICHT! VERBRENNUNGSGEFAHR!
Heizen Sie den Brandmalkolben nie ohne Spitze auf.
Das Entfernen der Spitze darf nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät und bei abgekühlter Spitze erfolgen.
Die Spitze verfügt über ein Schraubgewinde und lässt sich somit schnell und einfach am Brandmalkolben auswechseln.
Drehen Sie die Spitze gegen den Uhrzeigersinn heraus.
Drehen Sie die Spitze im Uhrzeigersinn fest.

in eine passende Steckdose.

HINWEIS
Stellen Sie den Brandmalkolben nach Gebrauch immer wieder zurück in den Ablageständer (siehe Abb. A).
Ziehen Sie bei Nichtgebrauch den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie den Brandmalkolben abkühlen.

Wartung und Reinigung
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie Arbeiten am Gerät durchführen. Reinigen Sie das Gerät nach Abschluss der Arbeit. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung des Gehäuses ein Tuch und ggf. ein mildes Reinigungsmittel. Verwenden Sie keinesfalls scharfe Gegenstände, Benzin, Lösungsmittel oder Reiniger, die Kunststoff angreifen. Vermeiden Sie, dass Flüssigkeiten in das Innere des Gerätes gelangen.

Entsorgung
Werfen Sie Elektrowerkzeuge nicht in den Hausmüll! Das nebenstehende Symbol einer durchgestrichenen Mülltonne auf Rädern zeigt an, dass dieses Gerät der Richtlinie 2012/19/EU unterliegt. Diese Richtlinie besagt, dass Sie dieses Gerät am Ende seiner Nutzungszeit nicht mit dem normalen Haushaltsmüll entsorgen dürfen, sondern in speziell eingerichteten Sammelstellen, Wertstoffhöfen oder Entsorgungsbetrieben abgeben müssen. Im Falle von Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon gut auf. Dieser wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt. Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns ­ nach unserer Wahl ­ für Sie kostenlos repariert, ersetzt oder der Kaufpreis erstattet. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb der Dreijahresfrist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und wann er aufgetreten ist. Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft. Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter oder Teile, die aus Glas gefertigt sind. Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
