INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Please read thoroughly before reading

DEVICE DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE

This digital thermometer is intended to measure human body temperature in children and adults; it can be used in a household environment. Fix this device on the armpit and make sure the probe touches the armpit well, wait for at least 10 minutes then use the MomiSure APP to read back the temperature.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

The digital thermometer is contraindicated:
Place the thermometer probe in scarred tissue or tissue compromised by any disorders of the measuring site.

PRECAUTION

1. Do not boil the device, instead, clean it by wiping it with a dry cloth and disinfecting it with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. See cleaning instructions for details.
2. Do not drop or expose the device to heavy shock.
3. Do not bite or swallow the device.
4. Do not attempt to disassemble the device.
5. Do not let the device come into contact with any thinner or chemical solvents.
6. Do not store the device under direct sunlight, at a high temperature, in high humidity, or dust. Performance may be degraded.
7. Keep out of reach of unsupervised children. Do not let children play with the device. TEMPERATURE SHOULD BE TAKEN UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION.
8. Components may be harmful if swallowed. Contact a physician immediately should this occur.
9. Clean the probe before storing.
10. Do not attempt to disassemble the device.
11. Do not put this unit in the dishwasher.
12. If the device has been stored at below-freezing temperatures, allow the device to warm naturally to room temperature before using.
13. Performance of the device may be degraded if: Operated or stored outside stated temperature and humidity ranges or if the patient’s temperature is below the ambient (room) temperature.
14. Before using, it is recommended to no excising for at least twenty minutes prior to doing a measurement and no walk during measuring, it may cause an inaccurate reading.
15. The reading is for reference, if feel sick or uncomfortable, please contact the physician.

HOW TO USE

CAUTION

1. Make sure the measuring site is dry, clean, and free of sweat and cosmetics prior to measurement taking.
2. Clean the probe before and after each measurement to prevent cross-contamination, see CLEANING & DISINFECTION.
3. After cleaning and disinfecting the probe, please wait for 2 minutes to do a measurement at least.

1. Tie the device under the armpit and make sure the probe aims at the armhole.
2. Install MomiSure APP from Google Play, App Store, or scan QR code to install it successfully then execute the APP.

3. Approach the NFC mobile device N position to read back the temperature, shown as below figures.
4. To take accurate temperature, recommend doing the measurement at least 5 minutes then doing NFC read-back.
NOTE: Always disinfect the thermometer before use.
NOTE: Temperature readings vary from person to person and time to time; find your normal temperature and watch for changes. If you compare readings between two thermometers, it is possible to have different readings even both of them are within the accuracy requirement.

• For Android mobile devices： Make sure the NFC area of the mobile device then put the mobile device above the thermometer, the temperature will be read-back.
• For iPhone7 or above： The iOS should be 11.0 or above and make sure the NFC area of the mobile device; press the icon of APP then close to the thermometer, the temperature will be read-back.

RELIABLE METHOD TO MEASURE TEMPERATURE

BODY TEMPERATURE: A person’s body temperature will usually be several tenths to one full degree lower in the morning than it is in the late afternoon.  Therefore, if your temperature is 97.9°F in the morning, it could be 98.4°F or more in the late afternoon and still be normal. To determine what your normal body temperature is you should take your temperature both in the early morning and in the late afternoon over several days. Children have the same normal temperature range as do adults. A fever for both children and adults is typically defined as a temperature over 99.5°F. Exercise, excessive clothing, hot bath, hot weather, warm food, and drink can cause mild elevations of up to 100.4°F to 101.1°F. If you suspect one of these to be the cause of an elevated reading, eliminate the possible cause and retake the temperature in a half hour.

CLEAN & DISINFECTION INSTRUCTION

CAUTION

1. The device is not water-resistant.
2. Clean the probe before and after each measurement to prevent cross-contamination, see CLEANING & DISINFECTION.
3. After cleaning and disinfecting the probe, please wait for 2 minutes to do a measurement at least.

Cleaning process:

1. Wipe the probe with a solution of 5-10% mild detergent for about 10~15 seconds.
2. Continuously wipe with cold water to avoid any chemical residues remaining on the device.
3. If necessary, repeat steps 1 and step 2 in order to make sure the device is clean.
   4. A final wipe down by a clean wipe is necessary to avoid water stains.

Disinfection process:

1. To disinfect the device when completing the cleaning process.
2. Wiping the probe with a cloth dipped in a disinfectant solution such as 70-75% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol: contact time ≧10 min for disinfection.

Drying process:

1. After the cleaning and disinfection process above.
2. Put the device to air-dry at room temperature 68-86°F, exposure time around 30~60 min.
3. And store the device in a dry, clean, and dust-free environment at room temperature.

LIMITED WARRANTY

This device is guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase against the manufacturer’s defect under normal, household use. Following the directions closely will ensure years of dependable operation. If the device does not function properly, please contact the distributor.

LOT NUMBER INFORMATION

LOT NO. (YYMM) on the device label means the manufacture month and the manufacture year.
For example, “1910” means the device was manufactured in October 2019.
