- Begin by loosely installing the tapped roll bar clamp halves to the mount base. Do not tighten.
- Now place the assembly onto the roll bar and loosely install the caps onto the roll bar clamps.
- two hands place the fire extinguisher bottom halves with tabs into the mount base and slowly push the pull handle in. This will be tight going in and has to go in straight.
- Now place the fire extinguisher into the base of the 3″ clamps and install the top part of the clamp. You can tighten these four screws now.
- Position the mount to the desired location and tighten the roll bar clamps now.
- Firmly pull the “PULL” handle to remove the fire extinguisher from the base. Tighten the clamps to the base now.
- Reinstall the “PULL” handle with the fire extinguisher in place and the installation is done.
With this two-pin design, you will have to make sure the “PULL” handle is aligned perfectly to put it back in. The Tight tolerances ensure there is no rattling off the fire extinguisher.
