Notices

The LD-200 Refrigerant Leak Detector is a hand-held leak detector that uses the heated diode detection principle. Compared with the traditional leak detector, its sensor has a longer life,higher detection accuracy, easier to operate and can detect a wider range of refrigerants. The LD-200 has an ergonomic design and a large LCD screen for easy viewing.

Setup

  • Power ( on/off the ): long press the on/off button.
  • Reset sensitivity benchmark: long press the Reset button.
  • Adjust sound: press the Mute button to cycle between low, medium and high buzzer volumes.
  • Adjust sensitivity levels: press the Sens button. By default, sensitivity is set to highest.

Operation

  • Check the device has a sufficient battery level.
  • Turn on ( on/off button ) and wait for 30 seconds before testing.
  • Adjust the sensitivity ( sens ).
  • Slowly move the probe ( approx 3 inch/sec ) at a distance of 0.25 inch near the suspected leak area.
  • Leakage intensity is proportional to the buzzer sound.
