Remote Controller Specifications
Before you begin using your new air conditioner, make sure to
familiarize yourself with its remote control. The following is a
brief introduction to the remote control itself. For instructions
on how to operate your air conditioner, refer to the How to Use
Basic Functions section of this manual.
- ON/OFF: Turns the unit on or off.
- SET: Scrolls through operation modes such as Auto, Cool, Dry,
Heat, Fan, etc. The selected symbol will flash on the display area,
press OK button to confirm. - TEMP: Decreases temperature in 1°C (1°F) increments. Min.
temperature is 16°C (60°F). - FAN SPEED: Selects fan speeds in the following order: Auto,
20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%. Press the TEMP or button to
increase/decrease the fan speed in 1% increments. - SWING: Starts and stops the horizontal louver movement. Hold
down for 2 seconds to initiate vertical louver auto swing
feature. - MODE: Scrolls through operation modes such as Auto, Cool, Dry,
Heat, Fan, etc. Note: Heat mode is not supported by the cooling
only appliance. - ECO/GEAR: Press this button to enter the energy efficient mode
in a sequence of following: ECO GEAR(75%) GEAR(50%) Previous
setting mode ECO… - OK: Used to confirm the selected functions.
- TIMER: Set timer to turn unit on or off.
- FRESH: Used to start and stop the Fresh feature.
- CLEAN: Used to start and stop the Self Clean or Active Clean
function. (Model dependent, please refer to the USER’S OPERATION
& INSTALLATION MANUAL). - LED: Turns indoor unit’s LED display and air conditioner buzzer
on and off (model dependent), which create a comfortable and quiet
environment.
Product Usage Instructions
Handling the Remote Controller
To insert or replace batteries:
- Slide the back cover from the remote control downward, exposing
the battery compartment. - Insert the batteries, paying attention to match up the (+) and
(-) ends of the batteries with the symbols inside the battery
compartment. - Slide the battery cover back into place.
BATTERY NOTES:
- If you don’t plan on using the device for more than 2 months,
remove the batteries. - Do not dispose of batteries as unsorted municipal waste. Refer
to local laws for proper disposal of batteries. - If the remote control is not used for more than 2 months,
replace the batteries.

Handling the Remote Controller
Inserting and Replacing Batteries
Your air conditioning unit may come with two batteries(some units). Put the batteries in the remote control before use. 1. Slide the back cover from the remote control
downward, exposing the battery compartment. 2. Insert the batteries, paying attention to match
up the (+) and (-) ends of the batteries with the symbols inside the battery compartment. 3. Slide the battery cover back into place.
BATTERY NOTES
For optimum product performance: · Do not mix old and new batteries, or
batteries of different types. · Do not leave batteries in the remote control
if you don’t plan on using the device for more than 2 months.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of batteries as unsorted municipal waste. Refer to local laws for proper disposal of batteries.
TIPS FOR USING REMOTE CONTROL · The remote control must be used within 8
meters of the unit. · The unit will beep when remote signal is
received. · Curtains, other materials and direct sunlight
can interfere with the infrared signal receiver. · Remove batteries if the remote will not be
used more than 2 months.

Buttons and Functions
Before you begin using your new air conditioner, make sure to familiarize yourself with its remote control. The following is a brief introduction to the remote control itself. For instructions on how to operate your air conditioner, refer to the How to Use Basic Functions section of this manual.
ON/OFF Turns the unit on or off.
TEMP Increases temperate in 1°C (1°F) increments. Max. temperature is 30°C (86°F). NOTE: Press together &
buttons at the same time for 3 seconds will alternate the temperature display between the °C & °F.

How to Use Basic Functions

How to Use Advanced Functions

The horizontal louver will swing up and down automatically when pressing Swing button. Press again to make it stop.

Keep pressing this button more than 2 seconds, the vertical louver swing function is activated. (Model dependent)
If continue to press the SWING button, five different airflow directions can be set. The louver can be move at a certain range each time you press the button. Press the button until the direction you prefer is reached.
NOTE: When the unit is off, press and hold MODE and SWING buttons together for one second, the louver will open for a certain angle, which makes it very convenient for cleaning. Press and hold MODE and SWING buttons together for one second to reset the louver(Model dependent).

ECO/GEAR function
Press this button to enter the energy efficient mode in a sequence of following: ECO GEAR(75%) GEAR(50%) Previous setting mode ECO…… Note:This function is only available under COOL mode.
ECO operation:
Under cooling mode, press this button, the remote controller will adjust the temperature automatically to 24OC/75 OF, fan speed of Auto to save energy (only when the set temperature is less than 24O C/75OF). If the set temperature is above 24OC/75 OF, press the ECO button, the fan speed will change to Auto, the set temperature will remain unchanged. NOTE: Pressing the ECO/GEAR button, or modifying the mode or adjusting the set temperature to less than 24 OC/75OF will stop ECO operation. Under ECO operation, the set tmeperature should be 24OC/75 OF or above, it may result in insufficient cooling. If you feel uncomfortable, just press the ECO button again to stop it.
GEAR operation: Press the ECO/GEAR button to enter the GEAR operation as following: 75%(up to 75% electrial energy consumption)
50%(up to 50% electrial energy consumption)
Previous setting mode. Under GEAR operation, the display on the remote controller will alternage between electical energy consumption and set temperature.

Silence function 2s Keep pressing Fan button for more than 2 seconds to activate/disable Silence function. Due to low frequency operation of compressor, it may result in insufficient cooling and heating capacity. Pressing ON/OFF, Mode, Sleep, Turbo or Clean button while operating will cancel silence function.
FP function Press this button 2 times during one second under HEAT Mode and setting temperature of 16 OC/60OF or 20O C/68OF.

The unit will operate at high fan speed (while compressor on) with temperature automatically set to 8 C/46 F.
Pressing On/Off, Sleep, Mode, Fan and Temp. button while operating will cancel this function.

FRESH ( ): When the FRESH function is initiated, the UV-C lamp and the ion generator are energized and will help to purify the air in the room.
Breeze Away function ( ): This feature avoids direct air flow blowing on the body and makes you feel indulging in silky coolness.
NOTE: This feature is available under Cool, Fan and Dry mode only.
Follow me function ( ): The FOLLOW ME function enables the remote control to measure the temperature at its current location and send this signal to the air conditioner every 3 minutes interval. When using AUTO, COOL or HEAT modes, measuring ambient temperature from the remote control(instead of from the indoor unit itself) will enable the air conditioner to optimize the temperature around you and ensure maximum comfort.
NOTE: Press and hold Turbo button for seven seconds to start/stop memory feature of Follow Me function.

Inainte de utilizarea noului aparat de aer conditionat, familiarizati-va cu telecomanda acestuia. In urmatoarele randuri regasiti o scurta prezentare. Pentru instructiuni legate de functionarea aparatului de aer conditionat, consultati rubrica “Cum se folosesc functiile de baza” din acest manual.

Functia ECO: Prin apasarea butonului in timpul modului de racire, temperatura va fi setata automat la 24 C si viteza ventilatorului la Auto, asigurand astfel economii de energie. In cazul in care temperatura selectata este mai mare de 24 C, doar viteza ventilatorului se va schimba la Auto. NOTA: Prin apasarea din nou a butonului ECO/GEAR sau prin modificarea manuala a temperaturii (sub 24C) si a vitezei, functia este dezactivata. In modul ECO, temperatura este setata la 24 de grade si peste. In cazul In care considerati ca racirea este insuficienta, se recomanda reactivarea functiei. Functia FOLLOW ME permite telecomenzii sa masoare temperatura la locatia curenta si sa trimita acest semnal catre aparatul de aer conditionat la interval de 3 minute. Cand utilizati modurile AUTO, COOL sau HEAT, masurarea temperaturii ambientale din telecomanda (in loc de la unitatea interioara insasi) va permite aparatului de aer conditionat sa optimizeze temperatura din jurul dvs. si sa asigure un confort maxim.
NOTA: Tineti apasat butonul Turbo timp de sapte secunde pentru a porni / opri memorarea functiei Follow Me. · Daca functia de memorie este activata, ,,Activat” se afiseaza timp de 3 secunde pe ecran. · Daca caracteristica de memorie este oprita, ,,OF” se afiseaza timp de 3 secunde pe ecran. · In timp ce functia de memorie este activata, apasati butonul ON / OFF, schimbati modul. Other Features
· Auto-Restart If the unit loses power, it will automatically restart with the prior settings once power has been restored.
· Anti-mildew (not available) When turning off the unit from COOL, AUTO (COOL), or DRY modes, the air conditioner will continue operate at very low power to dry up condensed water and prevent mildew growth.
· Refrigerant Leakage Detection The indoor unit will automatically display “EC” when the unit detects refrigerant leakage.
· Wireless Control Wireless control allows you to control your air conditioner using your mobile phone and a Wireless connection. For the USB device access, replacement, maintenance operations must be carried out by professional staff.
· Louver Angle Memory When turning on your unit, the louver will automatically resume its former angle.
For a detailed explanation of your unit’s advanced functionality (such as TURBO mode and its self-cleaning functions), refer to the Remote Control Manual.
· Active Clean function The Active Clean Technology washes away dust when it adheres to the heat exchanger by automatically freezing and then rapidly removing the frost. An intense sound will be heard. The Active clean operation is used to produce more condensed water to improve the cleaning effect. As a result cold air will be produced. After cleaning, the internal wind wheel will keep operating with hot air to blow-dry the evaporator, thus keeping the inside clean. When this function is turned on, the unit display will show the “CL ” notice and after 20 to 130 minutes, the unit will turn off automatically and cancel Active Clean function. For some units, the system will initiate the high temperature cleaning process, resulting that the temperature of air outlet will be very high. Please keep away from it. This would lead to the rise of the room temperature.
· Breeze Away This feature avoids direct air flow blowing on the body and make you feel indulging in silky coolness.

· Setting Angle of Air Flow
Setting horizontal angle of air flow
The horizontal angle of the airflow must be set manually. Grip the deflector rod (See Fig.B) and manually adjust it to your preferred direction. For some units, the horizontal angle of the airflow can be set by remote control. please refer to the Remote Control Manual.
NOTE ON LOUVER ANGLES
When using COOL or DRY mode, do not set louver at too vertical an angle for long periods of time. This can cause water to condense on the louver blade, which will drop on your floor or furnishings. (See Fig.A)
When using COOL or HEAT mode, setting the louver at too vertical an angle can reduce the performance of the unit due to restricted air flow.
Do not move louver by hand. This will cause the louver to become out of sync. If this occurs, turn off the unit and unplug it for a few seconds, then restart the unit. This will reset the louver.

Caution: Do not keep louver at too vertical an angle for long periods of time. This can cause water condensation to drip on your furnishings.

· Sleep Operation
The SLEEP function is used to decrease energy use while you sleep (and don’t need the same temperature settings to stay comfortable). This function can only be activated via remote control.
Press the SLEEP button when you are ready to go to sleep. When in COOL mode, the unit will increase the temperature by 1°C (2°F) after 1 hour, and will increase an additional 1°C (2°F) after another hour. When in HEAT mode, the unit will decrease the temperature by 1°C (2°F) after 1 hour, and will decrease an additional 1°C (2°F) after another hour.
It will hold the new temperature for 5 hours, then the unit will turn off automatically.
Note: The SLEEP function is not available in FAN or DRY mode.

2 Manual Operation (Without Remote)
How to operate your unit without the remote control
In the event that your remote control fails to work, your unit can be operated manually with the MANUAL CONTROLbutton located on the indoor unit. Note that manual operation is not a long-term solution, and that operating the unit with your remote control is strongly recommended.
BEFORE MANUAL OPERATION
Unit must be turned off before manual operation.
To operate your unit manually:
1. Open the front panel of the indoor unit.
2. Locate the MANUAL CONTROL button on the right-hand side of the unit.
3. Press the MANUAL CONTROL button one time to activate FORCED AUTO mode.
4. Press the MANUAL CONTROL button again to activate FORCED COOLING mode.
5. Press the MANUAL CONTROL button a third time to turn the unit off.
6. Close the front panel.
CAUTION
The manual button is intended for testing purposes and emergency operation only. Please do not use this function unless the remote control is lost and it is absolutely necessary. To restore regular operation, use the remote control to activate the unit.

Cleaning Your Indoor Unit
BEFORE CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE
ALWAYS TURN OFF YOUR AIR CONDITIONER SYSTEM AND DISCONNECT ITS POWER SUPPLY BEFORE CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE.
6. Rinse the filter with fresh water, then shake off excess water.
7. Dry it in a cool, dry place, and refrain from exposing it to direct sunlight.
8. When dry, re-clip the air freshening filter to the larger filter, then slide it back into the indoor unit.
9. Close the front panel of the indoor unit.
CAUTION
Only use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the unit clean. If the unit is especially dirty, you can use a cloth soaked in warm water to wipe it clean.
· Do not use chemicals or chemically treated cloths to clean the unit
· Do not use benzene, paint thinner, polishing powder or other solvents to clean the unit. They can cause the plastic surface to crack or deform.
· Do not use water hotter than 40°C (104°F) to clean the front panel. This can cause the panel to deform or become discolored.
Cleaning Your Air Filter
A clogged air conditioner can reduce the cooling efficiency of your unit, and can also be bad for your health. Make sure to clean the filter once every two weeks.
1. Lift the front panel of the indoor unit. 2. First press the tab on the end of filter to
loosen the buckle, lift it up, then pull it towards yourself. 3. Now pull the filter out. 4. If your filter has a small air freshening filter, unclip it from the larger filter. Clean this air freshening filter with a hand-held vacuum.
5. Clean the large air filter with warm, soapy water. Be sure to use a mild detergent.

· Before changing the filter or cleaning, turn off the unit and disconnect its power supply.
· When removing filter, do not touch metal parts in the unit. The sharp metal edges can cut you.
· Do not use water to clean the inside of the indoor unit. This can destroy insulation and cause electrical shock.
· Do not expose filter to direct sunlight when drying. This can shrink the filter.
Maintenance Long Periods of Non-Use
If you plan not to use your air conditioner for an extended period of time, do the following:

Alte funcii
· Repornirea automat Dac aparatul este deconectat de la alimentare va reporni automat utilizând setrile anterioare de îndat ce alimentarea este restabilit.
· Funcia antimucegai (nu e disponibil) La oprirea aparatului din modulele RCIRE, AUTOMAT (RCIRE) sau DEZUMIDIFICARE aparatul de aer condiionat va continua s funcioneze în mod economic pentru a usca apa condensat i a preveni apariia mucegaiului.
· Detectarea scurgerilor de agent frigorific Unitate interioar va afia automat ,,EC” atunci când detecteaz scurgeri de agent frigorific.
· Control WiFi Controlul Wi-Fi v permite s controlai aparatul de aer condiionat folosind telefonul mobil i o conexiune Wi-Fi.
Inlocuirea moduluui Wi-Fi sau lucrari de mentenanta la acesta, contactati departamentul de service sau persoane calificate.
· Memorarea unghiului fantei de oscilare La pornirea aparatului dvs., fanta de oscilare va fi poziionat automat în unghiul folosit anterior.
Pentru explicaii detaliate cu privire la funcionarea avansat a aparatului dvs. (cum ar fi modulul TURBO i funciile de curare automat) v rugm consultai manualul telecomenzii.
· Functia Active Clean Tehnologia Active Clean curata praful atunci cand adera la schimbatorul de caldura, inghetand automat si apoi dezghetand rapid gheata acumulata. Se va auzi un sunet ca un piuit. Operatiunea de curatare activa este utilizata pentru a produce mai multa apa condensata pentru a imbunatati efectul de curatare, iar aerul rece va sufla. Dupa curatare, flapsul interior va continua sa functioneze cu aer fierbinte pentru a usca vaporizatorul, pastrand astfel interiorul curat. Cand aceasta functie este activa, fereastra de afisare a unitatii interioare va arata ,,CL”, intre 20 pana la 130 de minute, dupa care unitatea se va opri automat i va anula functia Active Clean. Pentru unele unitati, sistemul va incepe procesul de curatare la temperatura ridicata, iar temperatura de iesire a aerului va fi foarte ridicata. Va rugam sa stati departe de aparat. Aceasta operatiune duce la cresterea temperaturii camerei.
· Breeze Away Aceasta caracteristica evita suflarea directa a fluxului de aer catre corp si te fac sa te simti rasfatat de racoare matasoasa.

· Setarea unghiului pentru fuxul de aer
Setarea unghiului orizontal pentru fluxul de aer
Unghiul orizontal al fluxului de aer trebuie setat manual. Apucai tija deflectorului (Fig. 2.3) i potrivii manual direcia conform preferinelor dvs. În funcie de model, unghiul orizontal al fluxului de aer poate fi setat prin telecomand. V rugm consultai manualul telecomenzii.
NOT PRIVIND UNGHIURILE FANTELOR La utilizarea modulului RCIRE sau DEZUMIDIFICARE, nu setai fanta la un unghi prea vertical pentru perioade lungi de timp. Acest lucru poate duce la condensarea apei pe lamelele fantei, ap ce poate cdea pe podea sau pe mobil. (Fig. A)
La utilizarea modulului RCIRE sau ÎNCLZIRE, setarea fantei la un unghi prea vertical poate reduce performana aparatului datorit fluxului de aer restricionat.
Nu micai fanta cu mâna. Acest lucru va duce la dereglare fantei. Dac se întâmpla acest lucru, oprii aparatul i scoatei-l din priz pentru câteva secunde, apoi repornii aparatul. Acest lucru va reseta fanta de oscilare.
Setarea unghiului vertical al fluxului de aer
In timp ce unitatea este pornita, utilizati butonul SWING/DIRECT de pe telecomanda pentru a seta directia (unghiul vertical) fluxului de aer. Va rugam sa consultati Manualul Telecomenzii pentru detalii suplimentare.
Interval

· Funcionarea în modul în ateptare Funcia ÎN ATEPTARE este utilizat pentru a scdea consumul de energie în timp ce dormii (i nu avei nevoie de aceeai setare de temperatur pentru a v simi confortabil). Aceast funcie poate fi activat doar cu ajutorul telecomenzii.
Apsai butonul ÎN ATEPTARE atunci când v pregtii de culcare. Când se afl în modul RCIRE, aparatul va crete temperatura cu 1°C (2° F) dup o or i va crete suplimentar cu câte 1°C (2° F)dup fiecare or. Atunci când se afl în modul ÎNCLZIRE, aparatul va scdea temperatura cu 1°C(2° F)dup o or i va scdea suplimentar cu câte 1°C(2° F) dup fiecare or.
Acesta va pstra noua temperatur timp de 7 ore, dup care aparatul se va opri automat.

Cum s operai aparatul dvs. fr telecomand
În cazul în care telecomanda dvs. nu mai funcioneaz, aparatul poate fi operat manual cu ajutorul butonului de control manual de pe unitatea interioar. V rugm s luai în considerare c funcionarea manual nu este o soluie pe termen lung i c funcionarea aparatului cu ajutorul telecomenzii este insistent recomandat.

ATENIONARE
Utilizai doar o cârp moale i uscat pentru a terge aparatul. Dac aparatul este foarte murdar, putei folosi o cârp înmuiat în ap cald pentru a-l terge. · Nu utilizai chimicale i cârpe tratate chimic pentru a cura aparatul · Nu utilizai benzen, diluant, praf de curat sau ali solveni pentru a cura aparatul. Acest lucru poate duce la crparea sau deformarea capacului de plastic. · Nu folosii ap mai cald de 40°C (104°F) pentru a cura panoul frontal. Acest lucru poate duce la deformarea panoului sau decolorarea acestuia.
6. Cltii filtrul cu ap curat apoi scuturai excesul de ap.

slabi catarama, apoi trageti usor catre dvs. 3. Acum puteti scoate filtrul. 4. Daca filtrul dumneavoastra de aer are
disponibil un filtrul pentru improspatarea aerului, detasati acel filtru si curatati-l cu ajutorul unui asipirator. 5. Curai filtrul de aer mare cu ap cald cu spun.Este important s folosii un detergent delicat.
Inlaturati filtrul pentru reimprospatarea aerului, aflat in spatele filtrului mai mare. (filtrul de reimprospatare este disponibil doar
la anumite unitati).

Nu atingei filtrul de împrosptare aer (plasma) pentru cel puin 10 minute dup oprirea aparatului.

PRECAUII PRIVIND SIGURANA

Probleme obinuite
Urmtoarele probleme nu reprezint o defeciune i în majoritatea situaiilor nu necesit reparaii.

Aparatul nu pornete la apsarea butonului pornire / oprire
Aparatul are o funcie de protecie de 3 minute ce previne supraînclzirea aparatului. Aparatul nu poate fi repornit în cadrul celor trei minute de la oprire.
Aparatul se schimb de pe modul RCIRE / ÎNCLZIRE pe modul VENTILARE
Aparatul îi poate schimba setrile pentru a preveni acumularea gheii pe aparat. Odat ce temperatura crete, aparatul va funciona în modul de funcionare selectat anterior.
Temperatura setat a fost atins, moment în care aparatul oprete compresorul. Aparatul va continua funcionarea atunci când temperatura fluctueaz din nou.
Unitatea interioar eman o cea alb
Atât unitatea interioar cât i cea exterioar eman o cea alb
În zonele cu umiditate ridicat, o diferen mare de temperatur între aerul din camer i aerul condiionat pot duce la formarea de cea alb.
Atunci când aparatul care pornete în modulul ÎNCLZIRE dup degivrare, o cea alb poate fi emanat datorit umezelii generate de procesul de degivrare.

Un sunet încet uierat în timpul funcionrii: acest lucru este normal i este cauzat de scurgerea gazului frigorific atât prin unitatea interioar cât i prin cea exterioar.

UV-C-Lampe Dieses Gerät enthält eine UV-C-Lampe. Lesen Sie vor dem Öffnen des Geräts die Wartungsanleitung. 1. Betreiben Sie die UV-C-Lampe nicht außerhalb des Geräts. 2.
