Seasoning the Cooking Surfaces
The cooking plate surfaces need to be `seasoned’ before using for the first time. 1. Ensure the cooking surfaces are clean. 2. Brush the surfaces with cooking oil. 3. Set the thermostat(s) to 110°C and turn the appliance On. The power indicator light turns on. 4. Once the appliance reaches temperature the power indicator light turns off. 5. Turn the appliance Off and allow it to cool before wiping away any excess oil. 6. The appliance is now ready to use.

Cooking
1. Close the plates. · Note: It may be necessary to slightly grease the plates with cooking oil before cooking
depending on the foodstuff. 2. Set the thermostat(s) to the desired temperature (60°C-300°C) and turn the appliance On. The power
indicator light(s) turn on. · Note: 200°C to 220°C is suitable for general cooking. 3. The power indicator light(s) turn Off when the appliance has reached the set temperature. 4. Lift the top plate and place the foodstuff on the bottom plate. 5. Lower the top plate.

Note: All BUFFALO Contact Grills feature counter-balanced top plates that allow for even cooking.

Note: With the new treatment for the flat plates, the surfaces now are smoother and thus better for cooking and cleaning. Whereas, the initial surfaces may appear to have ribbed markings with the first time use. After several hours of cooking, such markings will start to fade/disappear.

Adjusting Top Plate Tension
Use the Allen key supplied to adjust the tension of the top plate. Turn clockwise to tighten, anti-clockwise to loosen.

· Note: It is possible to tighten the plate so that it sits in the open position (if required). · BUFFALO recommend the appliance is disconnected from the power supply and allowed
to cool before any adjustments are made.

Using the timer
The digital timer with audible alarm can be set from 1 second to 15 minutes. The timer provides an audible alarm after the set time expires. It provides no electrical control over the unit.

· START/STOP: Press START/STOP to start timer, press again to stop. The timer will provide an audible alarm after the set time. The alarm will beep 10 times and the display will continue to flash until timer is reset (press the START/STOP button).
· UP: Press UP to add extra time. · DOWN: Press DOWN to reduce time.

· PROGRAM: There are a total of 6 programmable timer settings. The default factory program settings are given below.

· To change the length of a program select the program you want to change by scrolling using the PROGRAM button.
· Adjust the program time by using the UP and DOWN buttons. Press START/STOP to commence the count-down. The new program time will be automatically stored.
· If the unit is left without power for more than 24hrs the timer settings will revert to the factory defaults.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
If grease is permitted to accumulate, it will begin to carbonise into a hard substance that is extremely difficult to remove. To prevent this, follow the cleaning steps below: · Always turn OFF the appliance and disconnect from the power supply before cleaning. · Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning, but for best results clean the plates when they are still
slightly warm. · Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance. · Take care when using scrapers to remove cooking residues as they can damage the cooking surface. · Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

Scraping
· After each use, scrape the appliance with a scraper/grill stone/copper brush or flexible spatula to remove excess fat and food. A waste tray is provided for the scrapings if necessary.
· If there is an accumulation of burned fat or food, the cooking surface should be thoroughly scoured and re-seasoned.
Note: It is vital that the cooking surface is re-seasoned after scouring. Warning: Do not use steel wool as it may leave shards that could Contaminate food.
Waste tray
· This appliance features a waste tray to collect any liquid or fats that run off during cooking · At least once a day, remove and empty the waste tray before washing with warm, soapy water. · Do not allow the tray to overfill, or excess grease will run out of the overflow hole at the front of the
tray.
Warning: Do not remove the tray during or immediately after use as the contents will be hot.

Troubleshooting

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
· Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L · Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N · Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Kookoppervlakken voorbereiden
Alvorens het apparaat voor het eerste maal te gebruiken dient men de kookoppervlakken `voor te bereiden’. 1. Zorg dat de kookoppervlakken schoon zijn. 2. Smeer met een kwast de kookoppervlakken in met bakolie. 3. Zet de thermostaat (staten) op 110°C en zet het apparaat aan (ON). Het stroomlampje gaat aan. 4. Zodra het apparaat de ingestelde temperatuur heeft bereikt gaat het stroomlampje uit. 5. Zet het apparaat uit (OFF) en laat deze afkoelen alvorens de overbodige olie te verwijderen. 6. Het apparaat is nu gebruiksklaar.

Koken
1. Sluit de kookplaten. · Opmerking: afhankelijk van het voedsel kan het nodig zijn dat u de platen voor het koken
invet met bakolie. 2. Zet de thermostaat(staten) op de gewenste temperatuur (60°C-300°C) en zet het apparaat aan (ON).
Het(de) stroomlampje(s) gaat(gaan) aan. · Opmerking: een geschikte algemene kooktemperatuur is 200°C tot 220°C. 3. Het(de) stroomlampje(s) gaat(gaan) uit (OFF) zodra het apparaat de ingestelde temperatuur heeft
bereikt. 4. Breng de bovenplaat omhoog en plaats het voedsel op de onderplaat. 5. Laat de bovenplaat zakken.

Opmerking: alle BUFFALO contactgrillen zijn voorzien van tegengewichtbovenplaten die gelijkmatig koken mogelijk maken.

Opgelet: Met de nieuwe behandeling voor de vlakke platen, zijn de oppervlaktes nu gladder end us beter voor het koken en proper maken. In tegenstelling, de oorspronkelijke oppvervlakes kunnen geribbelde markeringen vertonen bij het eerste gebruik. Na een aantal uren van koken verdwijnen deze markeringen.

De spanning van de bovenplaat aanpassen
Plaats de inbussleutel (meegeleverd) aan de achterzijde van de bovenplaat en pas de plaatspanning aan. Naar rechts om aan te draaien en naar links om los te maken.

· Opmerking: Het is mogelijk om de plaat zodanig aan te draaien dat deze in de open positie staat (indien vereist).
· BUFFALO raadt aan om het apparaat van de stroomvoorziening los te koppelen en te laten afkoelen voordat men aanpassingen uitvoert.

Timer Instructie
De digitale timer met geluidsalarm kan ingesteld worden tussen 1 seconde tot 15 minuten. De timer geeft een geluidssignaal na het verstrijken van de ingestelde tijd. Het levert echter geen electronische controle over het apparaat.

· START/STOP: Druk op START/STOP om de timer sta starten, en druk er nogmaals op om hem te stoppen. Na de ingestelde tijd klinkt de alarmtoon van de timer. De alarmtoon gaat 10 keer af en het scherm blijft knipperen totdat de timer wordt uitgeschakeld (met de START/STOP-knop).
· UP: Druk op UP voor een langere tijd. · DOWN: Druk op DOWN voor een kortere tijd.
· PROGRAMMA: er zijn in totaal 6 programmeerbare instellingen van de timer. De standaardinstellingen bij levering staan hieronder.

· Om de lengte van een programma te wijzigen, selecteert u het betreffende programma met de knop voor PROGRAMMA.
· Stel de gewenste tijd in met de knoppen UP en DOWN. Druk op START/STOP om de timer aan te zetten. De nieuwe programmatijd wordt automatisch opgeslagen.
· Als de frituurpan meer dan 24 uur geen stroom ontvangt, gaat de timer weer terug naar de standaard instellingen.
Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
Wanneer men toestaat dat vetten zich kunnen opbouwen, dan wordt dit vet hard en is dan uiterst moeilijk te verwijderen. Volg de onderstaande stappen om dit te voorkomen: · Alvorens het apparaat te reinigen dient men altijd het apparaat UIT te schakelen en de stekker uit het
stopcontact te halen · Alvorens het apparaat te reinigen dient men het apparaat te laten afkoelen. Echter voor het beste
resultaat reinigt u het apparaatwanneer de platen nog enigszins warm zijn · Gebruik warm zeepwater en een vochtige doek om de buitenkant van het apparaat te reinigen · Wees voorzichtig met het gebruik van schrapers om resten te verwijderen aangezien deze de kookop-
pervlakken kunnenbeschadigen · Na reiniging goed drogen

Schrapen
· Schraap na elk gebruik het apparaat met een schraper/grillsteen/koperen borstel of flexibele spatel om de overdadige vet- en voedselresten te verwijderen. Indien nodig, gebruik de meegeleverde opvangbak.
· Wanneer er een opeenhoping van verbrand vet of voedsel is, moet het oppervlak grondig worden gereinigd en voor gebruik weer worden voorbereiden.
OPMERKING: HET IS VAN VITAAL BELANG DAT HET KOOKOPPERVLAK NA REINIGING OPNIEUW VOOR GEBRUIK WORDT VOORBEREID. WAARSCHUWING: GEBRUIK GEEN STAALWOL OMDAT DIT STUKJES KAN ACHTERLATEN DIE VOEDSEL KUNNEN BEDERVEN.
Opvangbak
· Dit apparaat is voorzien van een opvangbak die tijdens het grillen vetten en vloeistoffen opvangt. · Verwijder de opvangbak minimaal één keer per dag alvorens deze met warm zeepwater te wassen. · Laat de opvangbak niet te vol worden anders stroomt het te veel aan vet uit de overstortopening aan
de voorzijde van de bak.
WAARSCHUWING: OPVANGBAK NIET TIJDENS GEBRUIK OF KORT NA GEBRUIK UIT HET APPA- RAAT HALEN, DE INHOUD IS HEET.

Elektrische bedrading
Men dient de stekker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.
De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:
· Stroomkabel (bruin) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met L · Neutraalkabel (blauw) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met N · Aardekabel (groen/geel) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met E
Dit apparaat moet worden geaard.
Raadpleeg bij twijfel een vakkundige elektricien.
De elektrische isolatiepunten mogen niet worden geblokkeerd. In geval van een nooduitschakeling moeten de isolatiepunten direct toegankelijk zijn.

Vous devrez « sécher « les plaques de cuisson avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois. 1. Vérifiez que les surfaces de cuisson sont propres. 2. Badigeonnez les surfaces d’huile de cuisson. 3. Réglez le(s) thermostat(s) sur 110°C et mettez l’appareil sous tension. Le témoin d’alimentation
s’allume. 4. Une fois la température optimale atteinte, le témoin d’alimentation s’éteint. 5. Éteignez l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir avant d’essuyer l’excès d’huile, le cas échéant. 6. L’appareil est désormais prêt à servir.

Cuisson
1. Fermez les plaques. · Remarque : Certains aliments nécessitent un léger graissage des plaques à l’huile de
cuisson, avant la cuisson. 2. Réglez le(s) thermostat(s) à la température voulue (60 à 300°C) et mettez l’appareil sous tension.
Le(s) témoin(s) d’alimentation s’allume(nt). · Remarque : Une température de cuisson située entre 200 et 220°C convient aux
opérations de cuisson ordinaires. 3. Le(s) témoin(s) d’alimentation s’éteint/s’éteignent quand l’appareil a atteint la température réglée. 4. Soulevez la plaque supérieure et posez l’aliment à cuire sur la plaque inférieure. 5. Rabaissez la plaque supérieure.
Remarque : Les grills BUFFALO sont munis de plaques supérieures à contrepoids, pour une cuisson uniforme des aliments.

Remarque : grâce au nouveau traitement des plaques planes, les surfaces sont désormais plus lisses et donc mieux adaptées à la cuisson et au nettoyage. Par contre, les surfaces initiales peuvent sembler avoir des marques de nervures lors de la première utilisation. Après plusieurs heures de cuisson, ces marques commencent à s’estomper ou à disparaître.

Ajuster la tension de la plaque supérieure
Insérez la clé Allen (fournie) dans l’arrière de la plaque supérieure pour ajuster la tension de la plaque. Faites tourner la clé dans le sens horaire pour visser et anti-horaire pour dévisser.

· Remarque : la plaque peut-être réglée pour rester en position ouverte (en cas de besoin). · BUFFALO vous recommande de débrancher l’appareil de l’alimentation secteur et de le
laisser refroidir avant de procéder à un réglage quelconque.

Utilisation de la minuterie
La minuterie numérique avec alarme sonore peut être réglée sur une période allant de 1 s à 15 min. La minuterie émet uniquement un signal sonore. Une fois la durée programmée expirée, l’appareil continue de fonctionner à la température sélectionnée.

· START/STOP : Appuyer sur START/STOP pour démarrer la minuterie et appuyer à nouveau sur ce bouton pour l’arrêter. La minuterie émet un signal sonore une fois la durée programmée expirée. L’alarme retentit 10 fois et l’écran continue de clignoter jusqu’à ce que la minuterie soit réinitialisée (appuyer sur START/STOP).
· UP : Appuyer sur UP pour prolonger la durée. · DOWN : Appuyer sur DOWN pour réduire la durée.
· PROGRAM : Il existe 6 programmes de minuterie. Les programmes par défaut d’usine sont indiqués ci-dessous.

· Pour modifier la longueur d’un programme, sélectionner le programme à modifier en les faisant dérouler à l’aide du bouton PROGRAM.
· Régler la durée du programme avec les boutons UP et DOWN. Appuyer sur START/STOP pour commencer le décompte. La nouvelle durée du programme sera automatiquement enregistrée.
· Si l’appareil n’est pas alimenté en courant pendant plus de 24 h, les valeurs par défaut d’usine des programmes de la minuterie seront rétablies.

Nettoyage, entretien et maintenance
En cas d’accumulation des graisses, celles-ci commenceront à se carboniser en une substance dure extrêmement difficile à nettoyer. Pour empêcher cela, suivez les instructions de nettoyage suivantes : · Eteignez toujours l’appareil et débranchez-le de l’alimentation avant de le nettoyer. · Laissez l’appareil refroidir avant tout nettoyage. Pour des résultats optimaux, il est cependant recom-
mandé de nettoyer lesplaques lorsqu’elles sont encore légèrement chaudes. · Utilisez de l’eau chaude savonneuse et un chiffon humide pour nettoyer l’extérieur de l’appareil. · Prenez soin de ne pas utiliser de grattoirs pour retirer les résidus de cuisson, car ils pourraient en-
dommager la surface decuisson. · Essuyez minutieusement après le nettoyage.

· Après chaque utilisation, raclez l’appareil avec un racloir / pierre à grill / brosse en cuivre ou une spatule flexible pour retirer tout excès de graisse ou d’aliments. Un bac récepteur est fourni pour les raclures, le cas échéant.

Vorbereitung der Grillplatten
Die Grillplatten müssen vor dem ersten Gebrauch vorbereitet werden. 1. Darauf achten, dass die Grillflächen sauber sind. 2. Die Platten mit einem Pinsel mit Speiseöl bestreichen. 3. Das/die Thermostat(e) auf 110°C stellen und das Gerät einschalten. Die Stromanzeige leuchtet auf. 4. Sobald das Gerät die Temperatur erreicht hat, erlischt die Stromanzeige. 5. Das Gerät ausschalten und abkühlen lassen, bevor Sie überschüssiges Öl abwischen. 6. Jetzt ist das Gerät einsatzbereit.

Grillen
1. Die Platten schließen. · Hinweis: Je nach verwendeten Nahrungsmitteln müssen die Platten u. U. leicht mit
Speiseöl bestrichen werden. 2. Das/die Thermostat(e) auf die gewünschte Temperatur (60°C-300°C) stellen und das Gerät
einschalten. Die Stromanzeige(n) leuchtet/leuchten auf. · Hinweis: 200°C bis 220°C sind für die meisten Speisen zu empfehlen. 3. Die Stromanzeige(n) erlöscht/erlöschen, wenn das Gerät die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht hat. 4. Die obere Platte anheben und die Zutaten auf die untere Platte legen. 5. Die obere Platte absenken.

Hinweis: Alle BUFFALO-Kontaktgrills sind mit ausgeglichenen Platten oben ausgestattet, die eine gleichmäßige Zubereitung der Speisen ermöglichen.

Hinweis: Dank der neuen Behandlung der flachen Platten sind die Oberflächen jetzt glatter und damit noch besser zum Kochen und Reinigen geeignet. Dagegen können die anfänglichen Oberflächen bei der ersten Verwendung gerippte Markierungen aufweisen. Nach mehreren Stunden Kochen verblassen/ verschwinden solche Markierungen allmählich.

Spannung der oberen Platte regulieren
Den Inbusschlüssel (im Lieferumfang) auf der Rückseite der oberen Platte einführen und die Plattenspannung regulieren. Schlüssel zum Anziehen im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, zum Lockern entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn.

· Hinweis: Die Platte kann bei Bedarf so angezogen werden, dass sie sich in der geöffneten Stellung befindet.
· BUFFALO empfiehlt, vor Einstellungen stets den Netzstecker zu ziehen und zu warten, bis sich das Gerät abgekühlt hat.

Timer Instruktion
Der Digitaltimer mit akustischen Alarm kann von 1 Sekunde bis 15 Minuten eingestellt werden. Der Timer gibt einen akustischen Ton nach der eingestellten Zeit ab. Es gibt keine elektrische Kontrolle über das Gerät.

· START/STOP: Drücken Sie START/STOP, um den Timer zu starten; erneut drücken, um ihn auszuschalten. Der Timer gibt nach der eingestellten Zeit einen hörbaren Alarm von sich. Der Alarm piept 10 Mal und das Display blinkt weiter, bis der Timer zurückgesetzt ist (START/STOP drücken).
· NACH OBEN: NACH OBEN drücken, um die Zeitdauer zu erhöhen.
· NACH UNTEN: NACH UNTEN drücken, um die Zeitdauer zu verkürzen.
· PROGRAMM: Es gibt insgesamt 6 programmierbare Timer-Einstellungen. Die werkseitig vorgenommenen Standardprogrammeinstellungen sind:

· Um die Länge eines Programms zu ändern, mit der PROGRAMM-Taste das gewünschte Programm ansteuern.
· Die Programmzeit mit den Tasten NACH OBEN und NACH UNTEN regulieren. START/STOP drücken, um den Countdown zu starten. Die neue Programmzeit wird automatisch gespeichert.
· Wenn das Gerät mehr als 24 Stunden keinen Strom hat, setzen sich die Timereinstellungen auf die Standardeinstellungen des Werks zurück.

Reinigung, Pflege und Wartung
Wenn sich Fett über einen längeren Zeitraum ansammelt, kristallisiert es zu einer harten Substanz, die sich nur sehr schwierig entfernen lässt. Dies lässt sich mit den folgenden Reinigungsschritten verhindern: · Vor Reinigungsarbeiten stets zunächst das Gerät ABSCHALTEN und den Netzstecker ziehen. · Das Gerät vor dem Reinigen abkühlen lassen. Die besten Reinigungsergebnisse erzielen Sie aber,
wenn Sie die Platten reinigen,solange sie noch etwas warm sind. · Das Geräteäußere mit einer warmen Seifenlauge und einem feuchten Tuch reinigen. · Vorsicht beim Gebrauch von Schabern zum Entfernen von Speiseresten, da die Schaber die Koch-
fläche beschädigen könnten. · Nach dem Reinigen gründlich trocknen.

· Nach jedem Gebrauch mit einem Schaber/Grillstein, einer Kupferbürste oder einem biegbaren Spatel über das Gerät streichen, um Fett- und Speisereste zu entfernen. Bei Bedarf die Auffangschale für die entfernten Fett- und Speisereste verwenden.
· Wenn sich verbranntes Fett oder angebrannte Speisereste angesammelt haben, sollte die Grillfläche gründlich gescheuert und erneut vorbehandelt werden.
HINWEIS: ES IST SEHR WICHTIG, DASS DIE GRILLFLÄCHE NACH DEM SCHEUERN ERNEUT VORBEHANDELT WIRD. VORSICHT: KEINE STAHLWOLLE VERWENDEN, DA SIE U. U. KLEINE TEILCHEN HINTERLÄSST, DIE NAHRUNGSMITTEL VERUNREINIGEN KÖNNEN.
Auffangschale
· In der mitgelieferten Auffangschale können während der Speisenzubereitung herabtropfendes Fett oder andere Flüssigkeiten aufgefangen werden.
· Die Auffangschale mindestens einmal täglich herausnehmen, entleeren und mit einer warmen Seifenlösung waschen. Die Schale darf nicht zu voll werden, da das überschüssige Fett sonst durch die Überlauföffnung vorne herauslaufen würde.
VORSICHT: DIE SCHALE NICHT WÄHREND DES GEBRAUCHS ODER UNMITTELBAR DANACH ENTNEHMEN, DA DER INHALT HEISS IST.

Precondizionamento delle superfici di cottura
Le superfici delle piastre di cottura devono venire precondizionate prima di utilizzare per la prima volta il grill. 1. Assicurarsi che le superfici di cottura siano pulite. 2. Spennellare le superfici con olio alimentare. 3. Impostare il termostato su 110°C e accendere l’apparecchio. La spia di alimentazione si illumina. 4. Una volta che l’apparecchio ha raggiunto la temperatura impostata la spia dell’alimentazione si spegne. 5. Spegnere l’apparecchio e lasciare raffreddare prima di rimuovere l’eventuale olio in eccesso. 6. L’apparecchio è ora pronto per l’uso.

Cottura
1. Chiudere le piastre. · Nota: a seconda del cibo da cuocere, può essere necessario ungere leggermente le piastre
con olio alimentare prima della cottura. 2. Impostare il termostato sulla temperatura desiderata (da 60°C a 300°C) e accendere l’apparecchio. La
spia di alimentazione si illumina. · Nota: una temperatura compresa tra 200°C e 220°C è generalmente adatta alla cottura
dei cibi. 3. La spia di alimentazione si spegne quando l’apparecchio ha raggiunto la temperatura impostata. 4. Sollevare la piastra superiore e posizionare il cibo sulla piastra inferiore. 5. Abbassare la piastra superiore.
Nota: tutti i grill a contatto BUFFALO sono dotati di piastre superiori controbilanciate per consentire una cottura uniforme.

Nota: con il nuovo trattamento per le piastre lisce, le superfici ora sono più levigate e, quindi, migliori per cucinare e per essere pulite. Mentre all’inizio potrebbe sembrare che le superfici abbiano dei segni tipo griglia, dopo alcune ore di utilizzo, tali segni inizieranno a sbiadire/scomparire.

Regolare la tensione della piastra superiore
Inserire la chiave esagonale (in dotazione) nella parte posteriore della piastra superiore e regolare la tensione. Girare in senso orario per stringere, in senso antiorario per allentare.

· Nota: è possibile stringere la piastra in modo che rimanga in posizione aperta (se necessario) · BUFFALO raccomanda di scollegare l’apparecchio dall’alimentazione elettrica, lasciandolo raffreddare
prima di effettuare qualsiasi regolazione.

Istruzione del temporizzatore
Il temporizzatore di Digitahi con l’allarme udibile può essere regolato da 1 secondo a 15 minuti. Il temporizzatore fornisce un anello udibile dopo il tempo dell’insieme. Non fornisce controllo elettrico sopra l’unità.

· START/STOP: premere START/STOP (Avvio/Arresto) per avviare il timer, premere di nuovo per arrestare. Il timer fornisce un allarme acustico dopo il tempo impostato. L’allarme suonerà 10 volte e il display continuerà a lampeggiare fino a quando il timer viene reimpostato (premere il tasto START/ STOP).
· UP: Premere UP (Su) per aggiungere tempo. · DOWN: Premere DOWN (Giù) per ridurre il tempo.
· PROGRAMMA: sono disponibili 6 impostazioni programmabili del timer. Le impostazioni di programma di fabbrica sono indicate di seguito.

· Per modificare la lunghezza di un programma, selezionare il programma che si desidera modificare utilizzando il tasto PROGRAM (Programma).
· Regolare il tempo del programma utilizzando i tasti UP e DOWN. Premere START/STOP per avviare il conto alla rovescia. Il nuovo tempo del programma sarà memorizzato automaticamente.
· Se l’apparecchio è lasciato senza alimentazione per più di 24 ore, le impostazione del timer vengono ripristinate sui valori di fabbrica.

Pulizia e manutenzione
Se lasciato accumulare, il grasso si carbonizza e si indurisce, risultando quindi difficile da rimuovere. Per impedire l’accumulo, seguire la procedura di pulizia indicata di seguito: · Prima di eseguire la pulizia, spegnere e scollegare l’apparecchio dall’alimentazione. · Lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio prima di pulire. Per ottenere i risultati migliori pulire le piastre
quando sono ancoraleggermente calde. · Utilizzare acqua calda saponata e un panno inumidito per pulire la superficie esterna dell’apparecchio. · Fare attenzione quando si utilizzano raschietti per rimuovere i residui della cottura, in quanto possono
danneggiare la superficie dicottura. · Asciugare completamente dopo la pulizia.

Raschiamento
· Dopo ogni utilizzo, raschiare l’apparecchio con un raschietto/pietra per griglia/spazzola a fili di rame o una spatola flessibile per rimuovere il grasso e i residui di cibo. È fornito un vassoio di raccolta per i residui.
· Se è presente un accumulo di grasso o cibo bruciato, è necessario strofinare meticolosamente la superficie di cottura e quindi ricondizionarla.
NOTA: È DI FONDAMENTALE IMPORTANZA RICONDIZIONARE LA SUPERFICIE DI COTTURA DOPO AVERLA STROFINATA. ATTENZIONE: NON UTILIZZARE LANA D’ACCIAIO IN QUANTO PUÒ LASCIARE RESIDUI CHE POSSONO CONTAMINARE IL CIBO.
Vassoio di raccolta
· Questo apparecchio è dotato di un vassoio di raccolta del liquido o dei grassi prodotti durante la cottura. Almeno una volta al giorno, rimuovere e svuotare il vassoio di raccolta prima di lavarlo con acqua saponata calda.
· Non lasciare traboccare il vassoio perché il grasso in eccesso uscirà dal foro di troppo pieno sulla parte anteriore dell’apparecchio.

Cura de las superficies de cocción
La superficie de la placa de cocción debe “curarse” antes de usarse por primera vez. 1. Asegúrese de que la superficie de cocción esté limpia. 2. Aplique aceite de cocinar con un pincel. 3. Ajuste el/los termostato/s a 110°C y encienda el aparato (On). Se encenderá la luz indicadora de
alimentación. 4. Cuando el aparato alcance la temperatura fijada, se apagará la luz indicadora de alimentación. 5. Apague el aparato y deje que se enfríe antes de eliminar el exceso de aceite. 6. Ahora el aparato está a punto para el funcionamiento.

Cocción
1. Cierre las placas. · Nota: puede ser preciso engrasar ligeramente las placas con aceite de cocinar antes de la
cocción en función del alimento. 2. Ajuste el/los termostato/s a la temperatura deseada (60°C-300ºC) y encienda el aparato (On). Se
encenderán las luces indicadoras de alimentación. · Nota: de 200°C a 220°C es una temperatura de cocción general adecuada. 3. Las luces indicadoras de alimentación se apagan cuando el aparato ha alcanzado la temperatura
indicada. 4. Eleve la placa superior y coloque los alimentos sobre la placa inferior. 5. Baje la placa superior.
Nota: todos los grills de contacto BUFFALO presentan placas equilibradas que permiten una cocción uniforme.

Nota: Con el nuevo tratamiento para las placas planas, las superficies ahora son más lisas y, por consiguiente, mejores para cocinar y limpiar. Mientras que las superficies iniciales pueden aparentar tener marcas acanaladas con el primer uso. Después de varias horas de cocción, tales marcas comienzan a desvanecerse/desaparecer.

Ajuste de la Tensión de la Placa Superior
Insertar la llave Allen (suministrada) en la parte posterior de la placa superior para ajustar la tensión de la placa. Girar en el sentido horario para apretar y en el sentido antihorario para aflojar.

· Nota: Es possible apretar la placa para ponerla en la posición abierta (en caso necesario). · BUFFALO recomienda desconectar el aparato de la red eléctrica y esperar a que se enfríe antes de
efectuar cualquier ajuste.
Instrucciones del temporizador
El temporizador digital dispone de una alarma sonora que se puede configurar desde 1 segundo hasta 15 minutos. El temporizador dispone de una señal sonora después de configurar el tiempo. No existe un mecanismo de control eléctrico sobre la unidad.

· START/STOP: Pulse START/STOP (ARRANQUE/PARADA) para iniciar el temporizador, pulse de nuevo para pararlo. La alarma sonora del temporizador sonará después del tiempo establecido. La alarma pitará 10 veces y la pantalla continuará parpadeando hasta que se restablezca el temporizador (pulsando el botón START/STOP).
· UP: Pulse UP (ARRIBA) para añadir tiempo adicional. · DOWN: Pulse DOWN (ABAJO) para reducir el tiempo.
· PROGRAM (PROGRAMAR): Hay un total de 6 ajustes programables del temporizador. A continuación mostramos los ajustes de programación que vienen preestablecidos de fábrica.

· Para cambiar la longitud de un programa seleccione el programa que desea cambiar empleando el botón PROGRAM.

Limpieza, cuidados y mantenimiento
Si deja que se acumule grasa, empezará a quemarse convirtiéndose en una sustancia dura que resulta
extremadamente difícil de eliminar. Para evitarlo, siga los siguientes pasos de limpieza:
· APAGUE siempre el aparato y desenchufe el cable de alimentación antes de limpiarlo. · Deje que el aparato se enfríe antes de limpiarlo, aunque para obtener unos mejores resultados, limpie
las placas cuandoéstas todavía se encuentren ligeramente calientes. · Utilice agua caliente con jabón y un trapo húmedo para limpiar el exterior del aparato. · Tenga cuidado si utiliza rasquetas para eliminar los residuos ya que pueden dañar la superficie de
cocción. · Séquelo bien después de limpiarlo.

Rascado
· Después de cada uso, rasque el aparato con una rasqueta/piedra para grill/cepillo de cobre o espátula flexible para eliminar los restos de grasa y de comida. Se proporciona una bandeja recogegrasas para las rascaduras por si fuera necesario.
· En caso de que se haya acumulado grasa o comida quemada, debe rascar la superficie de cocción a conciencia y reacondicionarla.
NOTA: ES FUNDAMENTAL REACONDICIONAR LA SUPERFICIE DE COCCIÓN DESPUÉS DEL RASCADO. ADVERTENCIA: NO UTILICE ESTROPAJOS DE ACERO YA QUE PODRÍAN DEJAR FRAGMENTOS QUE CONTAMINASEN LOS ALIMENTOS.
Bandeja recogegrasas
· Este aparato incluye una bandeja recogegrasas para recoger el líquido o la grasa que se desprende durante la cocción.
· Por lo menos una vez al día, retire y vacíe la bandeja recogegrasas antes de lavarla con agua caliente y jabón.
· No deje que la bandeja se llene demasiado o que el exceso de grasa salga por el orificio de rebose que hay en la parte delantera de la bandeja.
ADVERTENCIA: NO SAQUE LA BANDEJA DURANTE O INMEDIATEMENTE DESPUÉS DEL USO DEL APARATO YA QUE EL CONTENIDO ESTARÁ CALIENTE.
