BEFORE YOU START

INFORMATION 

• Unroll your BBQ grill mat completely after unboxing and leave it for a few hours – preferably overnight – so that it can fully unfold before use.
• IMPORTANT: Always ensure to release your BBQ’s breaks before pushing it onto or over the mat – rolling it while the breaks are still locked can cause damage and scratches on the mats surface

Cleaning and Maintenance

UTILITIES

• To clean your grill mat, you can use a hand brush, broom or scrubber with rather soft bristles – too hard brushes may damage your mat.
• Use common, mild cleaning agents to clean your mat – use household washing-up liquid, citric acid, white vinegar or rubbing alcohol.
• You can also clean your BBQ grill mat with a high-pressure cleaner – keep a minimum distance of 30-40 cm from the mat to avoid damage.

MAINTENANCE

If your mat gets into frequent contact with water due to cleaning or rain, you should wipe it dry with a cloth afterwards – this is how you avoid the formation of verdigris and mould.

Recommended storage

Your mat is not in permanent use underneath the grill? Then store it rolled up in a dry place.
