ECOLAB 110008363C Retail Foaming Drain Cleaner and Degreaser User Guide

1. The device must only be operated by instructed operators.
2. Follow the use instructions delivered with the device.
3. Always wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment.
4. Never direct the fogging nozzle towards humans, animals or electric installations.
5. Only suitable for drain disinfection.
6. The only biocides allowed are:

Kenolox 10
Aseptanios AF 310

Availability ma depend on government approvals in the individual country. Do NOT mix 2 different biocides.

Safety

Wear appropriate PPE

• Working boots class S2.
• Safety glasses.
• Gloves and suitable clothing

Attention:
Do not use scratched or damaged hoses!

Pre cleaning

Drainspexx is to be used in cleaned drains only.

Biocide can and Spray bottle

• Place biocide can (i) in the Drainspexx unit.
• Place the suction lance in the can opening.
• Always have a spray bottle filled with fresh Biocide.(ii)
• Drive trolley to the first drain to be treated

Air connection

Connect pressurized air tube using quick joint. (i)

Attention:
Pressure at the Drainspexx unit should be 6 bar. (ii)

At the drain

1. Remove drain cover. (i)
2. Remove sieve from drain. (ii)
3. Remove siphon insert. (iii)
4. One of the drain adaptors will be applicable to the round drain pipe opening. (i)
5. Check if drain is blocked.

Attention:
If you find the drain blocked, do not apply.

Adapter selection

Easy to insert in cylindrical drain line. Select appropriate adapter according to diameter.
Screw the adapter on the nozzle.

Attention: Check adapter lips for any damage and correct sealing.
In case of damage, do not use further!
Check for tight fitting to the drain line wall, note that 2 lips (upper or lower) must seal the drain line.

Start/Stop fogging

1. Open air valve at Drainspexx unit (turn handle 90 °).
2. Check noise of nozzle. (If no noise appears, check air supply).
3. Open biocide valve, fogging starts.
4. Apply for 3 min.
5. Finally close valves, remove adapter.

Avoid x-contamination

1. Use spray bottle filled with Biocide to disinfect the adapter.
2. Spray Biocide onto the surfaces of the drain pipe entrance where the adapter was placed during Drainspexx application.
3. After applying Drainspexx to a drain, make sure that the siphon is reinstalled into the drain, in such way that it fulfills its intended purpose.
4. Reinsert sieve and cover

Disconnecting of Drainspexx

1. Disconnect air supply
2. Hang up the rolled-up air tube and the other tubes at the Drainspexx unit.

Move to the next drain to conduct the treatment
