Removal
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the intake manifold.
Refer to: Intake Manifold (303-01B Engine – 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), Removal and Installation). - Position the cover and disconnect the CKP sensor electrical connector, remove the bolt and the sensor. Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
Installation
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Using the scan tool, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure, following the on screen instructions.
