The Bebe Stars Car Seat (Item 006- A5) is a Group 0+ car seat
suitable for children weighing between 0-13kgs. It complies with
the ECE R44/04 safety standards. The car seat features a carrying
handle, shoulder strap slots, comfortable cushion, adjuster (under
the cover), harness adjuster strap, shoulder strap, chest pad,
buckle, crotch pad, adjuster cover, diagonal belt guide, harness
connector, lap belt guide, and adjuster button handle.
Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Put your child into the safety seat. Check the height
of the shoulder straps are in the correct position and fasten the
buckle. Then adjust the handle to Position 3 for carrying. - Step 2: Place the car seat on the vehicle’s seat. Ensure the
car seat is in contact with the vehicle’s seat at point C to
maintain balance. Feed the lap section of the seat belt into the
lap belt guide. - Step 3: Thread the diagonal belt section of the safety belt
through the diagonal belt guide at the back of the car seat. - Step 4: Feed the other side of the lap belt into the other lap
belt guide and fasten the safety belt. You should hear a click
sound. Check that the seat belt is correctly fastened by pulling it
upwards. - Step 5: Adjust the handle to Position 4. Make sure the seat
belt is correctly routed and tighten it by pulling the diagonal
belt upwards. Check that the webbing is not twisted and that the
cover does not impede the movement or fit of the seat belt.
Important Safety Warning: Never leave your
child unattended while using the car seat.

SAFETY WARNING For your child’s safety, please read these instruc ons carefully before use and keep them for
future reference. Failure to follow the instruc ons contained in this manual could result in serious injury to your child. This child seat can only be used with the harness for children less than 13kg in weight (group 0+), installed rearward facing using a three-point lap and diagonal seat belt. This instruc on manual can be retained in the special space of the child seat for its life period. Do not use this child seat in the home. It has not been designed for home use and should only be used in car. Do not use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the instruc ons and marked in the child restraint. Do not place rear-facing child seat on front seat with airbag. Death or serious injury can occur. The child seat should be changed when it has been subject to violent stresses in an accident. For the reason of safety, the child seat must be fixed inside the vehicle even if you do not put your child inside it. Always make sure that any straps holding the seat restraint to adjust to the child’s body and check that the straps shall not be twisted. Ensuring that any lap straps is worn low down, so that the pelvis is firmly engaged, shall be stressed. Any luggage or other objects liable to cause injuries in the event of a collision shall be properly secured. To prevent from the risk of fall, your child should always be fastened. It is dangerous to make any altera on or addi ons to the device without the approval of the competent authority, and a danger of not following closely the installa on instruc ons provided by the child restraint manufacturer. This child seat is designed for children from birth up to 13kg. Never overload the child seat more than one child or with other loads. The child restraint must not be used without the cover. The seat cover should not be replaced with any other than the one recommended by the manufacturer, because the cover cons tutes an integral part of the restraint performance. Before you adjust any movable or adjustable parts of your child seat, you must remove your baby from the child seat. The child seat should be kept away from sunlight if the seat is not provided with a tex le, otherwise it may be too hot for the child’s skin. Never use a second-hand product, as you can never be certain what happened to it.

This child seat can only be used with the harness for children less than 13kg in weight (group 0+), installed rearward facing using a three-point lap and diagonal seat belt.
Step 1. Put your child into the safety seat. Check the height of the shoulder straps are in the correct posi on and fasten the buckle. Then adjust the handle to the Posi on 3 for carrying.
Step 2. Place the car seat on the vehicle’s seat. NOTE: Please ensure the car seat is in contact with the vehicle’s seat at point C – this will ensure the balance of A and B. Feed the lap sec on of the seat belt into the lap belt guide.
Step 3. Thread the diagonal belt sec on of the safety belt through the diagonal belt guide at the back of the car seat.
Step 4. Feed the other side of the lap belt into the other lap belt guide and fasten the safety belt. You will hear a “click” sound. Check the seat belt is correctly fastened by pulling the seat belt upwards.
Step 5. Adjust the handle to posi on 4. Ensure the seat belt is correctly routed and ghten the seat belt by pulling the diagonal belt upwards. Check that the webbing has not become twisted and also check that the cover is not impeding the movement or fit of the seat belt in any way.

This restraint is only suitable if the approved vehicles are fi ed with 3 point with retractor safety-belts, approved to GB 14166 or UN/ECE Regula on No. 16 or other equivalent standards.
Important: The child seat must only be installed using a lap and diagonal seat belt.
Not to use rearward-facing in sea ng posi on where an ac ve frontal airbag is installed
It can be installed in this posi on only if it is equipped with 3-point seat belts
Usage of buckle Step 1. Put the two plas c sec ons of the buckle together. Step 2. Slot the two buckle connectors into the slot in the buckle un l they “click”
into place. Step 3. Check the harness is correctly locked by pulling the shoulder straps
upwards. To release the harness, you can press the red bu on of the buckle inwards, the two plas c sec ons will pop up.
Adjus ng the shoulder strap height Always check that the shoulder straps are at the correct height for your child. The child’s shoulder straps should always be threaded through the slots in the cover and seat shell that are closest to the top of your child’s shoulders.
Step 1. Press the red bu on of the buckle downwards, the two metal sec ons will pop up.
Step 2. From the back of the seat pull the plas c sec ons of the buckle through the cover and the seat shell.
Step 3. Re-thread the two plas c sec ons through the seat shell and the cover and fasten the buckle.
IMPORTANT: Ensure both shoulder straps are at the same height and they are not twisted.
Adjust the handle The handle of the child seat can be adjusted in 3 posi ons. Simultaneously press
the 2 red bu ons on each side of the handle. Swing the handle to the desired posi on and release the bu ons.

Adjust and use the harness 1. Loosen the harness The harness is slackened by pressing the adjuster (under the adjuster cover) on the front of the seat. Press down the adjuster as you grip the two shoulder straps with your other hand. Pull the shoulder straps towards you to loosen the harness.
2. Tighten the harness Pull the shoulder straps upwards to remove the slack from the lap sec on of the harness then pull the adjuster strap un l the harness is fully ghtened. The harness should be adjusted as ghtly as possible without causing discomfort to your child.
Remove the crotch pad and buckle
Turn the harness locking clip on its narrowest end and thread it through the slot under the bo om of the seat and then though the slot in the fabric cover.
The crotch pad and buckle as well as the harness straps can be removed.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
Daily maintenance In daily use, check periodically the child seat. The child seat should be replaced
a er an accident. Please keep this child seat in dry and ven lated place to avoid damp moldy. If the child seat becomes dusty, clean the seat belt and the plas c pieces by
swiping them with a damp sponge and let it dry under ambiance. If food or drink drop accidentally on the buckle, disassemble the seat belt from
the child seat and rinse it gently by warm water. Leave it dry under ambiance. If you need to clean the whole cover, please refer to washing instruc ons.
Washing instruc on Never use any solvent, chemical detergent or lubricant on any part of your child seat.

Remove and assemble the fabric cover First, remove the crotch pad and buckle, then remove the harness and sleeping
pad of the child seat. To assemble the fabric cover of the child seat, repeat the above prescribed
procedures in reverse order.
