What is the difference between active noise canceling and adaptive noise canceling?

Active Noise Cancellation helps to reduce background and surrounding noises. While Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation will automatically adjust noise-canceling levels in real-time, 50,000 times per second to account for environmental ambient noises and personal attributes such as movement, hair, and eyeglasses to deliver best-in-class Noise Cancelling and immersive sound in any environment.

Is the Soundstage wide and detailed, and is the separation impeccable?

Our Live 660NC has a Frequency Response range of 16 Hz – 20 kHz. The space and environment of sound will still depend on the user’s preference.

How can voice assistant be completely disabled? Every time I bump the left ear cup, while sleeping or doing yoga, it disrupts whatever is playing.

To disable Google Assistant in your Live 660NC, please download our My JBL Headphones App and the Google Assistant App, then proceed to Settings > Voice Assistant > Google Assistant to turn it off.

Are these headphones backward compatible? And would they be fully functional with Bluetooth 4.1?

The Live 660NC are backwards compatible with Bluetooth V4.1.

Are the electronics functional when using wired?

When using the Aux/Audio cable, the electronic functions of our JBL Live 660NC will not be activated as the headphones will act as passive headphones when wired.

What is the size of the audio jack in the headphones? I primarily bought these to plug into my guitar amp but the included cord is too short.

Our JBL Live 660NC uses the standard size audio jack which measures 3.5mm.

Yes, our JBL Live 660NC Headphone is compatible with the iPhone Operating System.

What is the difference between the 460 Mc And the 660 Mc?

While both headphones are decently comfortable and well-built, the biggest difference is that our JBL Live 460NC are on-ear headphones with more consistent audio delivery. Our JBL Live 660NC on the other hand, are over-ear headphones with slightly better noise isolation and less audio leakage.

How many cm hare the earcups on these

Our JBL Live 660NC has a 4cm size for earcups.

Talk thru 660nc, can amplification of someone’s voice be controlled or used to hear a hard-to-hear voice? How many mics are there?

Our JBL Live 600NC’s Talk Thru feature is to filter out noise around users without totally cutting out all surrounding noise.

Yes, our JBL Live 660NC is slightly bigger and heavier (265 g/0.6 lbs) than the Live 650nc (249g/9.14oz).

Where is the mute button for these?

Our JBL Live 660NC can’t be muted and it doesn’t have a mute button. You can try checking the app that you’re using if there’s an option to mute your audio.

JBL Live 660NC headphones will pair with any device (smartphone, laptop, tablet, PC, game console, smart TV, etc.) that is capable of connecting to wireless headphones via Bluetooth.

Yes. You may switch off the ANC mode by pressing the ANC button right beside the aux port or by using the JBL Headphones App.

Our JBL Live 660NC is recommended to be used for listening to music using your devices like phones, tablets, and laptops. You may experience audio-video delays when using it with your gaming consoles but you may connect this device via a 3.5mm audio cable. We would recommend checking our JBL Quantum Gaming headphones for gaming use.
