D’Addario DIY Solderless Cable Tester Instructions
CABLE TESTER
The D’Addario DIY Solderless Cable Tester makes it quick and easy to test cables for proper connections and shorts. The Cable Tester can be used for both ¼” mono audio cables and 2.1mm power cables and includes a convenient reference guide on the back of the unit. CR2032 battery included.
Place both ends of the cable into the corresponding jacks on the side of the cable tester. If the green lights above “SLEEVE” and “TIP” illuminate, you’ve got a working cable. If they don’t, or if the red “SHORT” light illuminates, disassemble the cable and repeat the build process. A reference guide is included on the back of the tester.
