| Problem | Possible cause | Solution |
| The light in the button flashes but the appliance does not operate. | You just prepared hot frothed milk or hot milk and pressed the button for milk or hot frothed milk again straightaway without letting the appliance cool down. | If you want to prepare hot-frothed milk or hot milk again straightaway, the milk jug needs to cool down for a few minutes before you can use it again. As long as the milk jug is still hot, the temperature limiter makes sure that the appliance cannot be operated. You can rinse the inside of the milk jug with cold water to let it cool down faster. |
| The temperature of the milk is too high. | Replace the warm milk with cold milk or let the appliance cool down. | |
| The appliance Does not froth. | You have not placed the lid properly on the appliance. | Place the lid properly |
| You did not attach the frothing coil to the coil holder. | Attach the frothing coil to the coil holder. | |
| You used a type of milk that is not suitable for frothing. | Fresh milk is not always consistent
and many factors can influence the quality of the milk froth (like protein content). If the milk does not froth as you would like, try a different type or brand of milk. Use semi-skimmed cow’s milk at refrigerator temperature for the best frothing result. | |
| The inside of the
the milk jug is polluted with milk residues, which prevents the coil holder from rotating. | Clean the coil holder and the inside
of the milk jug. | |
| The button
does not light up after I press it. | The appliance is
not plugged in. | Put the mains plug in an earthed wall
socket. |
| Milk froth
escapes from under the lid. | You put too much
milk in the milk jug. | Do not fill the milk jug beyond the
MAX indication. |
| The milk
is not very hot. | This is normal. | The milk is heated up to approx
74°C to ensure the best froth and taste. Milk proteins start to break down and burn if the milk is overheated. |
| Not all milk
has been frothed. | This is normal. | The appliance does not froth all the milk.
The appliance created the optimal milk-froth ratio. The milk easily mixes with coffee or other beverages and the milk froth stays on top for a delicious head. |
Rinse the milk jug, the lid, and the frothing coil with hot water and dry all parts before you use the appliance for the first time. If you want to prepare hot-frothed milk or hot milk again straightaway, the milk jug needs to cool down for a few minutes before you can use it again. You can also heat up milk without frothing it. In this case, you do not need to use the frothing coil. For hot preparations press the button shortly, for cold milk froth keep the button pressed for 3 seconds. Do not immerse the base and the milk jug in water or any other liquid.
- Do not clean them in the dishwasher either. Never use sharp objects, scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents, or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.
- Do not remove the coil holder from the spindle as this may cause damage.
FAQ’s
Turn on the frother after inserting it. With a cappuccino, you’ll want more foam than, say, a latte, so foam for 20 to 45 seconds, or until you reach your preferred consistency. As you froth, be careful to move the frother up and down the cup.
The simplest and best way to froth milk with a milk frother is to: Fill a tall container with milk. Switch on the frother while holding the container at an angle. For about 20 seconds, move the frother up and down until foamy bubbles start to appear. To remove any huge bubbles, tap the container on the counter.
With a milk frother, you may turn milk into microfoam and thick, velvety foam in the kitchen. To make café au lait, cappuccinos, lattes, and other beverages, frothed milk is typically added to coffee and espresso.
Frothers function by adding air (and occasionally heat) to milk, which results in bubbles and a creamy feeling.
I used 2 percent milk, but any kind will do. After filling the cup roughly one-third full, heat it in the microwave for 45 to 50 seconds. Place the frother in the cup at a 45-degree angle, turn it on, and froth the milk.
For milk froth, a recommended goal temperature range is between 120 and 140 °F. When the milk reaches this point, it loses its flavor and becomes flat and burnt.
If you want hot-frothed milk with a handheld frother (as for a latte), you must first heat the milk because, unlike electric frothers, handheld frothers cannot heat milk.
Fresher milk froths and steams better than older milk, which is also better when it is colder. Keep your steaming jug as cold as you can. Milk won’t foam if it is warm, hot, or old.
Try going just below the point where the spout begins to form for the fill level. That will provide approximately 5 or 6 ounces in these size pitchers, which is sufficient for a big latte. If that’s too much, you can add less, but since the milk will expand after it’s frothed, you probably don’t want to.
The milk is frothed in order to create a specific texture. It produces a rich foam and gives your coffee a creamy, airy mouthfeel. The majority of coffee drinks, including cappuccinos, lattes, mochas, and macchiatos, require milk foamers.
The milk frother creates light, airy foamy milk with huge bubbles, whereas the steamer heats the milk while texturizing it but does not produce as much foam as the frother.
Pour heated milk into the pump frother.
When milk (or a dairy-free substitute) is frothed, air is added during the process, but no heat is utilized, therefore the result is just cold-frothed milk. ideal for chilled tea or coffee beverages. Its texture is lighter and airier than that of whipped cream.
In about 60 seconds, your chilled frothed milk will be ready. For your favorite milk coffees, make light, creamy milk froth.
Cocktail components can be mixed in milk frothers, and they can also be used to quickly prepare frozen drinks.
