If you install more than 6 shelves in one section the load on the individual shelves must be reduced.

SAFETY

The total load capacity in one section is 210 kg (28 cm deep shelves) and 300 kg (47 cm deep shelves). For safety reasons, we do not recommend that you exceed this weight. Reinforce every other section with a cross-brace in the back to ensure stability.
This furniture must be fixed to the wall. Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home (not included).
Garage, pantry, cellar, hobby room, loft, and attic – HEJNE storage system fits in many places. You can build HEJNE in two different depths, 31 cm, and 50 cm, and make it as wide as you need by just adding on sections to fit your available space. Do you want to put the combination on a damp floor in the garage or cellar? Then, it’s a good idea to put end protectors on the bottom of the posts to prevent the wood from absorbing moisture from the floor.
To store smaller things you can choose the practical OBSERVATÖR clip-on basket which you can hang directly on the HEJNE shelf.
It’s easy to move and perfect for all the small things you want to find quickly and easily. HEJNE is made of sturdy solid wood, so it’s ready from the start to stand up to a lot. If you want to make the untreated surface even more durable and personalize it, you can apply BEHANDLA beeswax polish or glazing paint in your favorite color.

One section

Adding on a section

If you want to add on additional sections you will need shelves in the same depth, posts, and a cross-brace to stabilize the combination. Depending on how many sections you want to add to your combination, you will need to attach a cross-brace to the back of every other section. Lastly, the combination must be fixed to the wall. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home (not included).

GOOD TO KNOW

1.  You can load up to 50 kg on each 47 cm deep shelf and 35 kg on each 28 cm deep shelf when you install max. 6shelves in one section.
2. Reinforce every other section with a cross-brace in the back to ensure stability.
3. End protectors prevent any moisture on the floor from seeping into the wooden posts.
4. Clip-on baskets make it easy to keep small odds and ends neat, tidy, and easy to find. You can also link the baskets one to the other.

Single section – the smallest possible combination. The total load capacity of this combination is 140 kg, with 35 kg on each shelf.
