SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Check at regular intervals that the battery, power cord, plug and other relevant parts are not damaged. Damaged parts must be repaired before they are used again.

BATTERY
Failure to handle the battery carefully can cause fluid to leak from the battery. Battery fluid can cause skin irritation and/or burns. Avoid battery leakage.

  • Do not attempt to charge non­ rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not leave rechargeable batteries in the product while charging.
  • Rechargeable batteries must only be charged under the supervision of an adult.
  • Do not mix alkaline batteries with normal batteries or rechargeable batteries (NiCd).
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Only use batteries of the recommended type.
  • Insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
  • Take out old batteries.
  • Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
  • Recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations.
  • Do not burn batteries – the risk of explosion and/or leakage.
  • Batteries and chargers are not toys. Store them out of the reach of children.

DESCRIPTION

REMOTE CONTROL

  1. Direction lever
  2. Direction lever
    – Move both levers forward to drive forward. Move both levers backward to reverse.
    – Move the left lever forwards and the right lever backward to turn right.
    – Move the left lever backward and the right lever forward to turn left.
  3. Arrow button left
    –  Controls the rotation of the work platform to the left.
  4. Arrow button right
    –  Controls the rotation of the work platform to the right.
  5. Bucket controlling
    –  Controls the movement of the bucket up and down.
  6. Control of middle arm
    – Controls the movement of the middle arm up and down.
  7. Control of excavator’s arm up
  8. Control of excavator’s arm down
  9. Programming button
    – Press the programming button for three seconds to go to programming mode and carry out the functions you want to program. Press the programming button again to complete the programming.
    – You can activate the programming mode again by pressing the programming button.
    – Press any button to stop the programming mode.
  10. Noise and light
    – Press once to activate music and light, press again to repeat music and light.
  11.  Auto demonstration
    – The functions of the excavator have been demonstrated automatically.

ASSEMBLY

INSERTING THE BATTERY
Excavator

  1. Make sure the power switch (1) is set to OFF.
  2. Unlock the battery cover lock (2), undo the screws on the battery cover, and open the battery cover on the excavator.
  3. Fit the power supply terminal (3) and the battery terminal (4) together. Insert the rechargeable battery pack.
  4. Close the battery cover and tighten the screws.

Remote control

  1. Make sure the power switch is set to OFF.
  2. Undo the screws on the battery cover.
  3. Open the battery cover on the remote control and insert two 1.5 V AA batteries with the correct polarity.
  4. Close the battery cover and tighten the screws.

NOTE:
If the status light on the remote control does not go on this means the batteries are discharged. Replace the batteries.

USE
FREQUENCY SETTING

The remote control for the excavator works with 2.4 GHz. The frequency between the remote control and the excavator must be set before use.

  1. Put the batteries in the excavator and the remote control.
  2. Set the power switches on the excavator and the remote control to ON.
  3. The remote control runs a frequency search and the status light flashes.
  4. When the status light on the remote control stops flashing the excavator gives an audio prompt.
  5. The frequency setting is now complete and the excavator can be controlled with the remote control.

CHARGING THE EXCAVATOR BATTERY

  1. Connect the battery to the charger and connect the charger to a PowerPoint.
  2. The status light goes on when the battery is connected.
  3. The status light flashes when the battery is charging.
  4. The status light goes off when the battery is fully charged. It takes about 4-5 hours to charge the battery.
  5. Charge the batteries at least once a month if they are not going to be used for some time.

NOTE:
The surface of the batteries gets warm during charging – this is quite normal. After charging, unplug the charger from the PowerPoint and remove the batteries.
