The SYLVANIA UltraLED Strip Luminaire is a high-efficiency LED lighting solution that is ideal for retrofit and new installations in various applications such as retail, manufacturing, warehouse, office, education, and low-bay lighting. It is available in 2ft, 4ft, and 8ft lengths with a diffuse acrylic lens that delivers smooth, even illumination.

Product Installation

The SYLVANIA UltraLED Strip Luminaire can be surface mounted or suspended using the V-hook mounting bracket included. The fixtures can be joined end-to-end using the optional joiner bracket. For additional mounting accessory options, refer to the Accessories section of the user manual.

The product name is Strip 2A. The ordering abbreviation consists of several parts:

Product Ordering Information

Note: DE in the ordering abbreviation stands for DLC Premium Listing and UL Damp Location Rated.

To install the SYLVANIA UltraLED Strip Luminaire, follow these steps:

1. Determine the mounting method – surface mount or suspended using V-hook mounting bracket.
2. Identify the power source and voltage range.
3. Remove the light engine and lens module from the fixture by pressing the toolless release tabs on both sides of the module.
4. Wire the fixture according to the wiring diagram provided in the user manual.
5. Insert the light engine and lens module back into the fixture until it clicks into place.
6. If joining fixtures end-to-end, use the optional joiner bracket to connect them together.
7. Install the split junction box cover over the wiring compartment to protect the electrical connections.
8. Mount the fixture to the ceiling or wall using appropriate hardware and accessories.
9. Turn on the power and test the fixture to ensure it is working properly.

Sensor Options Information

Detection Range

• Typical installation height 2.5-4m; units are shown in meters.
• This figure indicates the maximum distance at the highest mounting height with 100% sensitivity.

DIP Switch Settings

Detection area

• In this area, movement will be detected and able to trigger the sensor. 100% detection area is also known as the strong sensitvity.

Hold-time

• The period of light keeping 100% brightness after moving objects leave the detection area.

Daylight threshold

Definition of the ambient brightness; only when the ambient brightness is lower than the preset specific lux amount, the sensor will work; when it’s preset as “disable”, the sensor works everytime it detects motion regardless the ambient brightness.

Stand-by period

• The period of light keeping low output before it’s completely switched off. When it’s preset as “∞”, the light always keep at low output if no movement in the detection area and doesn’t turn off.

Stand-by dimming level

• The definition of low output in the standby period.
