Product Information

Spray Lances

A spray lance is an essential accessory for pressure washers. Nilfisk offers a range of spray lances including Powerspeed Vario Plus, Tornado Plus, FlexoPower Plus, Turbohammer Plus, Universal Plus, and 4-in-1 spray lances. These spray lances come with adjustable pressure settings and nozzles of different sizes to cater to different cleaning needs. The spray lances also have safety features to ensure that they are used correctly and safely.

Adjustment of Spray Angle Powerspeed Vario Plus

To adjust the spray angle of Powerspeed Vario Plus, turn the nozzle tip in the desired direction. This will change the spray angle from a fine point to a wider fan pattern.

Use of Detergents

If you want to use detergents, you can do so by using an external chemical injector. Open the reduction valve for operation with low pressure to allow the addition of detergents.

Safety Guidelines

Do not direct water jets towards electric wiring or the cleaner itself.
Do not direct water jets towards people or pets.

Repairs and Accessories

If any part of the nozzle needs to be replaced, rep.kits are available for replacement of nozzle parts, reduction valve, and spray lance shells. The side bar is available as an accessory for all 5 models of spray lances.

Nozzle Size/Colour Marking

Nozzles with smaller diameters than those specified for the machine must not be mounted on the lance. Therefore, the spray lances are not immediately interchangeable. You will find the correct nozzle size in the instruction manual of the machine.

Nozzle Size for Old KEW and Wap Machines

If you have an old KEW machine, use the left side of the table. If you have an old Wap machine, use the right side of the table. Look in the table to find the order number for the right nozzle size for your equipment.

Product Usage Instructions

Spray Lances

Attach the spray lance to your pressure washer.
Adjust the pressure settings on the spray lance as per your cleaning needs.
Turn on the pressure washer and point the spray lance at the surface you want to clean.
To adjust the spray angle, turn the nozzle tip in the desired direction.
To use detergents, use an external chemical injector and open the reduction valve for operation with low pressure to allow the addition of detergents.
After use, turn off the pressure washer and detach the spray lance from it.
Clean the spray lance and store it in a safe place.

Instructions for Use

Thank you for buying a Nilfisk spray lance. Please read these instructions carefully through before you start using the lance.

Spray lance with pressure regulation

To obtain max. working pressure, the reduction valve (A) of the spray lance should be fully closed (max).
To work with completely reduced pressure by full water capacity, the reduction valve should be wide open (min).

Adjustment of spray angle Powerspeed Vario Plus

For specially tough cleaning tasks the spray pattern of the nozzle is infinitely variable from 0-20° in one turn (B).

Safety

Water jets should never be directed towards electric wiring or the cleaner itself.
Water jets should never be directed towards people or pets.

The side bar is available as an accessory for all 5 models of spray lances, order no. 106402110.

old KEW and Wap machines

If you have an old KEW machine, use left side of table. Example: You have a KEW 04 nozzle, go one column to the right in the table and fi nd your new size = 0435. Then proceed to the order number 101119739.

If you have an old Wap machine, use right side of table. Example: You have a Wap 04 nozzle, go one column to the left in the table and fi nd your new size = 0400. Then proceed to the order number 101119738.
