Instruction Manual
CAUTION: Turn off the evaporative cooler and disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet before cleaning, servicing or performing any maintenance on the unit.
BACK PANEL REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
- If the unit has removable screen panels, turn all screen panel holder tabs to the horizontal position and remove the screen panel(s) from the back of the unit.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the screws on the back panel of the unit.
- For the PEC-A-2200-1RC (2200 CFM) unit: Using the cord hooks as handles, pull the bottom of the back panel towards you until the bottom of the panel is clear of the back of the reservoir. With the bottom of the panel clear of the reservoir, pull the back panel downwards to fully remove the panel from the unit.
- For All Other Models: Using the cord hooks as handles, pull the back panel towards you to fully remove the panel from the unit.
MAINTAINING AND CHANGING THE RIGID MEDIA PADS
The frequency of cleaning the rigid media pad depends on local air and water conditions. In areas where the mineral content of the water is high (hard water), mineral deposits may build up on the media pad and restrict air flow. If mineral deposits remain on the media pad, it should be removed and washed under fresh water or replaced. We recommend cleaning the media pad at least every two months, depending on water conditions.
For best results, allow the media pad to dry after each use by turning off the pump and running the unit in one of the fan only speeds for up to 15 minutes before turning off the unit.

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Visit the Special Order desk to get pricing.
- Select part numbers and quantities.
- Place order at the Special Order desk. Contractors’ Warehouse will place the order with Dial.
- Allow 5-7 days for order to be entered, ship and arrive at Contractors’ Warehouse store.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Single zone mini-split indoor units will not work with multi-zone outdoor units.
- 24000BTU multi-zone outdoor unit requires a minimum of 2 indoor units to function.
- 24000BTU multi-zone outdoor unit can be used with a maximum of 3 indoor units.
- 24000BTU multi-zone outdoor unit requires a quantity of 3 of the 9000BTU indoor units or a quantity of 2 of the 12000BTU units.
- Must order a separate line set for each indoor unit.
- Must order both outdoor and indoor units for order to be entered. Dial units will not work with units from other manufacturers.
