MV4-2UCRDA UCR UCF Refrigerator Freezer

Product Information

The product is a freezer that is designed to reduce the risk of
fire, electric shock, or injury to persons using the freezer. The
user manual provides instructions and basic safety precautions that
the user should follow to ensure proper usage of the freezer. The

the summer season, door gasket replacement, monitor probe for field

MV25-4UCF, MV30-4UCF, MV40-4UCF, DHK4-10GD, DHK4-10SD, DHK30-10SD,
DHK20-20MDP, and DH-9RFDA.

The freezer requires a supply voltage of 115 volts, 60 Hertz, 1
phase. The supply voltage should not vary more than 5% from serial
plate ratings. It has a 15 amp dedicated line and NEMA 5-15
electrical plug. The unit is prewired at the factory and includes a
cord and plug set. The user should not connect to GFI/GFCI outlets
as it can result in product loss due to unsafe cabinet temperature
when the GFI device trips from moisture. The user should not use
extension cords and should not disable or bypass the ground prong
on the electrical plug. The user should disconnect the unit from
the power supply before performing maintenance on the unit.

The freezer has an LED, mode function, and message cause. It
also has a temperature to resistance chart NTC thermistor.

Product Usage Instructions

  • Read all instructions and follow basic safety precautions
    before using the freezer.
  • Do not modify the plug provided with the unit. If it will not
    fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified
    electrician.
  • Do not position equipment so it is difficult to disconnect from
    the power supply.
  • While under warranty, do not attempt to repair or replace any
    part of the freezer for servicing without first contacting the
    So-Low Service Department.
  • Before calling the manufacturer’s technical support department,
    have the model number of the unit, box identification number, and
    serial number ready as well as the problem description.
  • If moisture is expected during the summer season, follow the
    instructions provided in the user manual to prevent moisture
    accumulation in the freezer.
  • If the door gasket needs to be replaced, follow the
    instructions provided in the user manual.
  • If a monitor probe needs to be installed in the field, follow
    the instructions provided in the user manual.
  • Follow the cleaning and defrost procedure provided in the user
    manual to ensure proper maintenance of the freezer.
  • Clean the condenser as instructed in the user manual to ensure
    optimal performance of the freezer.
  • Follow the control programming instructions provided in the
    user manual to set up and program the controls of the freezer.
  • If the control needs to be calibrated, follow the instructions
    provided in the user manual.
  • Refer to the control settings, basic control settings, advanced
    settings, and the hidden menu sections in the user manual for
    further information on controlling the freezer.
