Product Information

The Power Behind the PumpTM is a motor with the new Triple
SealTM protection feature. This feature is designed to protect the
bearings from water, pests, and debris, thereby extending the life
of the motor.

Triple SealTM Protection

Triple Seal protection is a robust design developed and patented
by Regal Rexnord. It is designed to combat premature motor failures
caused by pump end bearing failures due to water ingress. Triple
Seal protection uses three distinct sealing systems to protect the
pump end bearing on both the outboard and inboard-facing seal of
the bearing.

1. The first line of defense prevents moisture from washing the
grease out of a bearing.

2. IP-55 Rated Lip Seal: Located behind the Century seal to
ensure any moisture that might make it past is stopped in its
tracks.

3. Bearing Lock Plate: Integrated into the bearing lock plate,
this sealing system protects the inboard seal of the bearing,
preventing moisture ingress to the back side of the bearing.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Select the appropriate stock number based on your
   requirements.
2. Check the voltage requirement of your system and choose the
   corresponding model.
3. Identify the frame type (56Y Square or 56J C-Face) based on the
   model you have selected.
4. Ensure a proper installation of the motor into the pump system,
   following the manufacturer’s guidelines.
5. Make sure the motor is securely connected to the power
   supply.
6. If using in a pool or hot tub application, consider the Triple
   SealTM protection feature to prevent premature motor failures
   caused by water, pests, and debris.
7. Regularly inspect and maintain the motor to ensure its optimal
   performance and longevity.

TRIPLE SEALTM PROTECTION
Triple Seal protection was developed and patented by the innovative engineering staff at Regal Rexnord to combat premature motor failures associated with pump end bearing failures due to water ingress. Triple Seal protection is a robust design that protects the pump end bearing on both the outboard and inboard facing seal of the bearing using three distinct sealing systems (See image below).
While Triple Seal protection is designed to protect the pump end bearing from general water ingress, dust and debris, it is not designed to protect against leaky pump seals, constant spray from irrigation systems, or other extraneous conditions. Triple Seal protection is another line of defense from moisture intrusion into the pump end bearing system.
