Assembly steps
Overview
This Console Table has multiple parts and may require up to some 30 minutes to assemble.The above picture is to help you in putting various parts into perspective.Please read through the instructions below to familiarise yourself with the parts and steps before assembly.
Step 1
Unpack all the parts and place them on a clean non-marring surface.
Step 2
With help of your adult partner, carefully place the Table Top(A) face down as shown in above diagram,on clean, non marring surface.
Attach Table leg (F) to Table Top(A) using Washer ( 1),Bolt ( 2),Allen Wrench (3 ).
DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS.
Step 3
Repeat “Step 2” to assemble all the other three Table Legs(C,D,E)to Table Top(A).
DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS.
Step 4
Carefully Attach Table Shelf (B) to the Table Legs using Washer (1 ),Bolt (2 ),Allen Wrench(3 ).
DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS.
Step 5
Turn the Console Table right side up.
Place the Console Table on a LEVEL SURFACE.
Inspect it and make sure all parts are adequately connected.
This would help to aligh all the parts at all the joint areas.
In a sequential manner,proceed to tighten all Bolts.
To tighten the Bolts at the base of the Console Table, do secure assistance from your adult partner (s).
You may be required to turn the Console Table, to gain easy access to the secure points.
Turn the Console Table in a synchronized manner.
CAUTION 1: When tightening these Bolts, tighten sequentially.
DO NOT tighten any Bolts fully and then towards the next one.This would cause the frame to warp.
If there is still wobble, loosen the Bolts and execute this same process.
WARNING!! IF Console Table IS NOT STABLE, IT COULD LEAD TO DAMAGING THE PRODUCT.
Ensure all Bolts are Fully locked into position.
The Console Table is ready to be use.
CAUTION 2: This Console Table can only be used on a flat, level surface.
Step 6
With help of your adult partner, carefully stand the Console Table:
Put out the drawers and reassemble the knobs with the help of screw driver( ) in Anticlockwise direction.
Step 7
Install the Knobs on the drawer with the help of screwdriver (4 ) in Clockwise as picture above.
Step 8
Now the Console Table is ready for Tip over Restraint Device Installation.
Tip over Restraint Device Installation Instructions
WARNING
Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from tipping furniture.
To help prevent tip-over: ALWAYS secure this furniture to the wall using Tipover Restraint Device.
See product instructions for more ways to help prevent furniture tip-over.
Usage For Tipover Restraint Device:
To secure Console Table against wall, attach two Brackets(7 ) on wall and product, use Tip over Restraint Strap(710) to connect the Brackets( 7).
Step 9
9.1) Drill four holes on wall at same height as Brackets(7 ) on Console Table with Power Drill(6 ).
You can mark these points in two ways as below:
- Move the Console Table back to the wall. Mark four points same height as Console Table on the wall.
Note: The Brackets need to be secured to solid, load bearing surface. Please use a Stud Finder(not supplied) if needed to locate the Wall Frame. - Measure the height of the Brackets(7 ) with ruler/measuring tape and mark on wall to keep them accurate and same height.
9.2) Insert Wall Plugs(9 ) into drilled holes on wall with Hammer( 5).
Step 10
Attach Brackets(7 ) to Wall Plugs(9 ) using Wall Plug Screws(8 ) with Screwdriver( 4).
Step 11
Move Console Table to the wall.
Pull the Tip over Restraint Straps( 10) through the Brackets(7 ) on the wall and Console Table one by one, and pull the Tip over Restraint Straps(10 ) tight.
This Console Table is now ready to use.
Caution: This Console Table can only be used on flat, level surface.
