Detergent

High efficiency (HE) detergent is highly recommended for this washing machine. The normal amount of detergent to use is 4 to % of the maximum amount recommended by the detergent manufacturer. Always reduce the amount of detergent if the load is small or lightly soiled, or if your water is very soft. Never pour any liquid bleach directly onto the load. It may cause fabric damage, such as weakening of cloth fibers or color l

Maintenance

Clean the exterior

Power off the machine, unplug the power cord, then turn off the water inlet faucet. Use a soft damp cloth to wipe up the cabinet and control panel. Do not use abrasive powders or cleaning pads. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the panel.

Clean the interior

Clean the interior of your washer periodically to remove any dirt, soil, odor, mold, mildew, or bacterial residue that may remain in your washer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in unpleasant conditions, including odors and/or permanent stains on your washer or laundry. Hard water deposits may be removed, if needed, use cleaners labeled as “washer safe”. Run “Quick Wash” cycle with some bleach every month to clean the interior drum.

Clean lint filter

There is a built-in lint filter in the washing machine. It helps to collect dirt and lint during wash cycle. It is suggested to clean this lint filter every 5 cycles. Simply take out the lint filter, remove inside lint and dirt, clean the filter with water, then place it back into the washer.

Clean water inlet filter

Power off the washer and turn off the faucet, disconnect water inlet hose from the washer, use brush to clean the filter in the water inlet valve.
