COVID Vaccine Rapid Antigen Test

How to use a rapid antigen test
You can do this test yourself at home. This test will tell you if you have Covid-19.
Your test kit will have:
- A swab

- A tube with some liquid inside A lid for the tube
. - A test

- Take the seal off the tube.

- Put the tube in the tube holder. Don’t spill the liquid.

- Blow your nose.

- Take the swab out of the packet.

- The swab goes about 2cm up your nose. 2cm looks like this.

- Put the soft end of the swab inside one nostril.

- Spin the swab four times. Take the swab out of your nose.

- Put the same swab in your other nostril.

- Spin the swab four times again.

- Put the end of the swab into the tube.

- Squeeze the tube and spin the swab around 10 times. Keep squeezing the tube, and take out the swab.

- Put the cap on the tube.

- Open the test.

- Squeeze the tube to put three drops of liquid into the short window.

- Wait 10 minutes.

What does your result mean?
- After 10 minutes, there should be a line next to the C. If there is no line next to the C then the test has not worked. You might need to do another test.

- If there is one line next to the C, this means you probably don’t have Covid-19. This is called a negative result.

- If there are two lines, you probably do have Covid-19. This is called a positive result. Stay at home and call your doctor.
