TRIM & MOLDING PROFILES

SMARTCORE trims and moldings are designed to coordinate effortlessly with your SMARTCORE floor. Each piece is 94″ long and features a waterproof core wrapped in vinyl.

BABY THRESHOLD

Used for transitioning from a hard surface floor (SMARTCORE) to a thicker floor such as high pile carpet. It can also be used to transition between flooring and doorway thresholds, and/or around hearths and sliding glass doors.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Measure and cut to fit. Affix Baby Threshold using adhesive, being sure to follow adhesive manufacturer’s instructions completely.

QUARTER ROUND

Used to accent the transition from the baseboards to floor surface.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Measure and cut to fit. Affix Quarter Round using glue, molding tape or nails. When using adhesive, be sure to follow manufacturer’s instructions completely.

REDUCER

Used to transition from a hard surface floor (SMARTCORE) to a floor with a lower height (ceramic tile, low pile carpet).
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut Reducer and track to same desired length. Secure track to floor with glue, molding tape or nails and press or tap Reducer into track to desired depth using rubber mallet.

STAIRNOSE

Used to provide the finishing touch to the front stair edge when installing SMARTCORE on stairs.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Measure and cut to fit. Affix Stairnose using adhesive, being sure to follow adhesive manufacturer’s instructions completely.
