Detachable Cable
You may need to detach the cable from the earphones to attach optional components or to replace the cable if it becomes damaged. To prevent accidental separation, the connector has a snug fit. Take special care to prevent damage to the earphone and connectors.
- Do not use pliers or other tools.
- Grasp the connector and the earphone as close as possible to where they join.
- Pull straight apart—do not twist. Cable is a snap fit, not threaded.
- Do not pull on the cable or put any pressure on the earphone nozzle.
- Listen for a click when connecting.
- When reattaching the cable, match the “L” and “R” markings.
- For clear cables and earphones, match the color dots (Red = Right, Blue = Left).
Note: If you pull at an angle, the connector will not detach.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Careful maintenance ensures a tight seal between the sleeve and nozzle, im-proving sound quality and product safety.
- Keep the earphones and sleeves as clean and dry as possible.
- To clean sleeves, remove them from earphones, gently rinse in warm water and air dry. Foam sleeves require a longer drying time. Inspect for damage and replace if necessary. Ear sleeves must be completely dry before reusing.
- Wipe the earphones and sleeves with mild antiseptic to avoid infections. Do not use alcohol-based disinfectants.
- Do not expose earphones to extreme temperatures.
- Replace the sleeves if they do not fit properly.
- Do not attempt to modify this product. Doing so will void the warranty and could result in personal injury and/or product failure.
Note: The cable connectors to the earphones may collect debris or other deposits that can affect audio quality. If this happens, disconnect the cables and clean them
using a dry cotton swab.

Cleaning Earphones
If you notice a change in sound quality, remove the sleeve and check the nozzle of your earphone. If the nozzle is blocked, clear the obstruction by using the wire loop end of the cleaning tool.
Warning: The cleaning tool is only to be used to clean the earphones. Any other use, such as using the tool to clean ears, could result in injury.

Depends how loud she is. Riley why are you being yelled at?. Earbuds are not going to solve this issue.
I can say with great certainty that if you are wearing them when she screams chances are you are screaming back. Sound isolation is good but Moms are by far better.

They probably won’t be a very good choice for wear while you’re in the gym. As for moisture, I can only tell you my experience. I wear them onstage and during a show I sweat buckets. I normally take them out between sets and dry them off but I have never had them stop working. I assume that sweat is OK but I won’t guarantee it. They stay in my ears just fine but for a workout, I don’t know. Maybe
If it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, yes, it will work.
If it’s covered by the warranty and you have the receipt, it can be replaced.
Otherwise, you will have to pay for the replacement.
But for the price… if it’s >50% of the retail price, you may as well buy a newer set.
When you send in the unit for repair, Shure will contact you. You can ask if you can just buy a newer set from them since the cost of the replacement won’t be worth the cost.
Shure may give you a discount on a newer model which may still be pricey but at least it’s a discount.
They will work just fine. I would suggest getting the triple-flange replacement tips (EATFL1-6) so they sit in the ear better and stay in while playing better. The single driver won’t give you amazing sound but this is a great entry-level IEM. I use custom Ultimate Ears UE11 Pro’s on stage most of the time but always have these SE215s in my gear kit as back-up; that said, the rest of my band used these as their standard IEM without complaint (these are what come with the Shure wireless IEM system). I did use these at a couple of shows when my UE’s cable went wonky and they did just fine. On a daily basis, I actually use these when I go running or go to the gym and they are fantastic for that!
Yes, it can be connected to xvive. I use those as well and these in-ears connect with no special adaptor.
Hi, these headphones are very good at blocking out talking in the office. I often use them precisely for that reason and commonly don’t have any music playing from them while at work so I can focus better. They’re sort of like earplugs in that way. You’ll still hear some outside noise while wearing these but they do a good job of drowning out nearby talking.
They should unless you really whip your head when running and don’t run the chord around the back of the ear and over the top. I’m a drummer and I wear these by running the chord up my back and over the tops of my ears. While I’m not a “head banging” player, I do at times shake/bob my head jerk it side-to-side and these stay put. The chord closest to the buds is somewhat stiff and can be bent into shape, so it works well “molding” over the top of the ear. This helps keep the bud in the ear.
Yes! I play the drums with these on and they sound better for some reason… However these headphones have a lifetime of 1 year, that is before encountering illogical problems. Beware
They would be, if you don’t have fake ones delivered… I ordered them for the same purpose (under a
helmet) and had the cheapest knockoffs delivered. Comfortable but awful sound. Beware
