INTENDED USER PROFILE

The intended user should be a licensed medical professional, the patient or the patient’s caregiver. The user should be able to read, understand and be physically capable of performing the directions, warnings and cautions in the information for use.

INTENDED USE/INDICATIONS

Treatment of wrist sprains, strains, and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS).

PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS

Soft-good/ semi-rigid designed to restrict motion through elastic or semi-rigid construction.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Phlebitis patients should not wear neoprene products.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

Neoprene supports should not be worn by individuals with known susceptibility to dermatitis or allergies to neoprene by- products.
Do not use over open wounds.
If pain, swelling, changes in sensation or other unusual reactions occur while using this product, you should contact your doctor immediately.
If you have skin disorders/injuries in the relevant part of the body, the product should be fitted and worn only after consultation with a medical professional.

NOTE: Contact manufacturer and competent authority in case of a serious incident arising due to usage of this device.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Loosen all straps and position hand in brace. Make sure the palmer stay is positioned comfortably below the palmer crease and aligned with forearm.
Position adjustable dorsal strap pod to ensure maximum support and proper fit. Stay pod may be moved proximal or distal for desired controlled range-of-motion.
Secure strap between thumb and forefinger.
Use single pull Velstretch® strap to secure body of brace. Straps should be snug but not constrict.

Note: Single pull strap should feed through underside of opposing side of brace and D-Ring prior to securing.

CARE

Hand wash in warm water using mild soap, rinse thoroughly. AIR DRY.
Note: If not rinsed thoroughly, residual soap may cause irritation and deteriorate material.
