Janska Evergreen Planter Usage Instruction Manual

EverGreen Planter Usage

Product Information: Planter

The planter features a removable inner pot that allows for
versatile planting. It is designed with four raised nodes on the
base that can be pierced or drilled to provide drainage for the
plants. The planter is lightweight and easy to transport, clean,
and restyle.

Drainage

To ensure proper drainage for your plants, create holes in the
base of the planter based on your plant’s drainage requirements.
The water will drain through to the larger outer pot and can be
easily poured out when needed. Alternatively, you can place a layer
of large pebbles or stones at the base of the removable inner pot
before adding soil. This will allow water to seep through the soil
and remain separated from the roots while still providing
moisture.

Stability

If you plan to place the planter outdoors or in a position of
frequent traffic, we recommend adding large stones (up to 4-inch
height) inside the base of the outer pot for additional stability.
The weight of the stones inside the outer pot will help
counterbalance the weight from the soil in the inner pot, so the
planter is not top-heavy.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Remove the inner pot from the outer pot.
  2. If you want to create drainage holes, pierce or drill holes in
the raised nodes on the base of the outer pot. Alternatively, add a
layer of large pebbles or stones at the base of the inner pot.
  3. Add soil to the inner pot.
  4. Plant your desired plant in the soil.
  5. Place the inner pot back into the outer pot.
  6. If placing the planter outdoors or in a position of frequent
traffic, add large stones (up to 4-inch height) inside the base of
the outer pot for additional stability.
  7. Water your plant as needed, and allow excess water to drain
through the holes or pebbles at the bottom of the inner pot into
the outer pot. Pour out any excess water in the outer pot when
    necessary.
  8. To transport, clean, or restyle your planter, remove the inner
pot from the outer pot and proceed with the desired action.

PLANTER USAGE

DRAINAGE
The planter’s removable inner pot allows for versatile planting. The base features four raised nodes that can be easily pierced or drilled to provide drainage. Create holes based on your plant’s drainage requirements. Water will drain through to the larger outer pot and can be easily poured out when needed.

Alternatively, instead of drilling holes, place a layer of large pebbles or stones at the base of the removable inner pot before adding soil. This will allow water to seep through the soil and remain separated from the roots while still providing moisture.

STABILITY
The lightweight design of the planters allows for easy transporting, convenient cleaning, and regular restyling. However, should the planters be placed outdoors or in a position of frequent traffic, we recommend adding large stones (up to 4-inch height) inside the base of the outer pot for additional stability. The weight of the stones inside the outer pot will help counterbalance the weight from the soil in the inner pot, so the planter is not top-heavy.
